There are good things and bad things about this game. If you look at other reveiwer's reveiws, you'll see that a lot of them are five stars. I agree that this game is five stars when you start playing, but things get harder. When you first start playing this game, you'll probably think: This game is sweet!
They graphics are ausome,(which I agree is very true)there is lots of action, and bad guys to kill with all kinds of weapons. Soon you'll be stuck in a spot either because one part is way to hard to beat, or you can't figure out what to do next.

this is the best game i ever had played. good graphics, good story line. it has the most coolest gadgets and weapons. this game is a must have. buy it!!!!!

i can tell you in many words how good this is but instead ill break it down into the cons and pros. pros lots of fun weapons consestintly funny good music and voiceacting plenty of action very long game weapon upgrades instresting storyline cartoonish look and feel lots to do with space if youre a fan of intergalatic adventures you should definitely check out rachet and clank. cons nothing jak and daxter just dont compare i think rachet and clank is way better than jak and daxter because it has action instead of running around constantly.

rachet and clank is definitely the platformer to check out right now. its a hot game that is better than jak and daxter. glamoursly packed from its juicy engrossing story to its hardcore lineup of action r and c is the perfect example of a good platform game. basically youre in a beautifal wonderfully designed intergalatic space system. rachet is trying to locate some guy forgot his name about a ship repair when suddenly he bumps into clank then there both off to find the guy and destroy bunches of aleins with various weapons on there qeust. rachget is a cat and clank is a highly sophistacated intelligint robot who later becomes rachets freind. the game does a really good job of brining in characthers i really enjoy just listening to and then they add simply rewarding gameplay and thats a formula for success. the graphics and music in the game are fantastic as it seems insomniac are using that combination to create an expereince like the movies. this game is fun its got the whole package. beautifal cartoony graphics classic and new platform elements exceptional graphics and music loveable characthers. oh yeah and did i metion the weapons there are these really fun guns i love the blaster. the sound the blaster makes is really cool a direct pop em and shoot em noize i love that stuff. the hyprocitor is cool but the ryno rip ya a new one is the best and most expensive weapon in the entire game. the bolts on the ground are something you should hold onto. rachet and clank is not the best game but its the best platformer youre likely to come across in a while.

I rented this because I am always looking for good platform games (SPYRO!) and it came right around "Jak and Daxter".
That one I liked better though. I didn't really like the weapon building and the non-stop robot fighting. Eventually I got stuck; I couldn't find my way out of somewhere and I never liked it enough to buy it. I haven't played the second one either. An okay game.

...about whose turn it is to play Ratchet & Clank. Great fun, involving & addicting. Gameplay, graphics and music are all top notch. If you were a Spyro fan, you should love R&C.

GREAT GAME ESPECIALLY NOW THAT ITS ON SALE. THIS GAME IS FUN TO PLAY AND THE GAME IS A LOT LONGER THAN YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A PLATFORM GAME. WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!

This is a cute game especially for those who like platform games. I agree with another reviewer -- the worlds are really huge and sometimes you just lose your orientation. I especially like this game because you can play it entirely in Spanish (it also has French and German, I think). My complaint is that the controls/views are a little sluggish, that is, you turn Ratchet to face a certain direction and by the time you use the controls to see what he sees, you could get blown up. That said, it's a lot of fun, vivid and colorful graphics and you should get this game for a nice distraction. Hours will pass by without your even knowing it!
