Rachet and Clank is totally awesome!!! It has lots of weapons and gadets and you could also get be Clank! You get to travel to different planets and fight different kinds of robots, aliens, and creatures!! There are also vending machines that you could weapons and ammo for them too. And if you lose all heath you won't have to start over. I can't wait to get the second one of it!

This game is Amazing, and with all them amp about the new Rachet and Clank:Going Commando game, it's great to get back to basics and "duke it out with your favorite baddies".
You have to play this game, there is nothing more fun than this game, except for it's sequel.
If you're thinking of buying Rachet and Clank: Going Commando, you have to buy this game, not only does it lead you into the sequel, it's just all out FUN.
I love this game and I love it's gameplay,get this game and you won't be dissapointed.
Overview of the Game
Graphics-10/10 The new cartoony look is awesome.
Difficulty- 9.5/10 Hard, but some parts are easy
Fun- 13/10 Fun at it's highest

This game is really fun, so you should really play this game.
(Check out the sequel (Rachet and Clank: Going Commando), and check out Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. Both are very cool and both are very fun, another side topic is Jak 2 and Tak and the Power of JuJu.)

Ratchet and Clank is one of those beautiful games that are only produced every once in a long while. And this game really is beautiful. The graphics both in and out of cut scenes are the kind that make you want to cry like a baby. Watching a rocket fire out of your Devastator is REAL eye candy.
The plot is very well thought out and polished too a very high degree. I don't want to spoil it, but I will tell you this. It actually gives you reasons to go to other planets, such as finding a new gadget or weapon, instead of akwardly place you on some random planet. Such a novelty in an age of gaming that is mostly about the fighting. The plot also allows you to go to hover boarding with an actual reason.
The weapons and gadgets...AHH!!! That is what makes this game so great. You have guided missiles, a mine glove, a glove that throw little bombs that run after any bad guy in the area. Blasters, Devastators, Morpharay (turn enemies into chickens), Bomb Glove, Suck Cannon. After a few levels, you can equip Clank with some pretty cool gadgets.
This game is a must have! And even though its teen, it probably wouldn't be too bad for any kid over 7.

rachet and clank is extrodinary the graphics are the best ive ever seen. featuring lucious open landscapes enormus worlds and endless activities. fire up the bad guys with your gun and watch them explode pure action and excellence. so much bad guys action and the graphics are visually wonderful featuring flawless crisp animations. the charachters are beautifal and well crafted the controls are so easy. you can easily navigate rachet trough a series of worlds without a single control problem. the weapons are awesome and add great enjoyment to the endless festivities packed in this game. the music is excellent it sounds well orchestrated and dramatic. there are a few problems in gameplay and sound effects too hard sometimes but overall fun and challenging give it a shot.

Ratchet And Clank is an enjoyable platform game for the PS2 buried amongst the many strategy and shooting games available for the system. It is enjoyable with great graphics, and I find it quite challenging...(in fact I am stuck on a spot), and the weapons Ratchet gets are quite nice. I definately recommend this game if you are looking for an enjoyable platform game for the PS2.

Ratchet and Clank is a really fun game because it knows what to take from. This game shamelessly borrows aspects from every great 3-D platformer from Mario to Banjo-Kazooie to Sly Cooper, and rolls them up into an impressive package (plus lots of guns). With a story line that takes directly from the legendary Jumping Flash series (the world's only 1st Person Platformers) and countless cheesy 80s action movies, Ratchet and Clank has a fun, enthusiastic, popy pace. In some cases, Ratchet and Clank can't live up to the games it is tributing, but generally its so fast paced you won't really care. In the end, it is not a great game, but a fun game standing on the shoulders of great games, and, if you can look past production values that, while good, are not great, you can have a really great time with this game. If you're looking for originality, story, and high production values, this is not the place. (Instead take a glance at last year's tragically underapreiciated Jak and Daxter.)

This is a must have game. One of those rare games that have wonderful graphics, excitement, story line. It has it all complete with some awesome weapons. I even got my mom to start playing this game.

People listen up! This will be the greatest game you will ever play. The story line is funny, the graphics unbelievable, and don't even get me started about all the cool weapons! You get to fight, shoot things, swim under water, race hoverboards, fly space fighters and solve puzzles all while saving the world. You could not spend your money more wisely. Once you beat the game the first time a whole level of Gold weapons opens up for you to go after. You'll even actually be able to take some of this games weapons to the upcoming sequel. Buy it now so you can be ready R&C 2 when it is released in November. The Most fun my family has had playing games. It's like an interactive movie the graphics are so good!!
