This is a really cool game where you get to outrun the cops, who are sometimes really tough. There are at least 49 different cars, starting with the Opal Speedster. To get more cars and tracks you have to beat challenges. Hot Pursuit is with cops, which has 30 challenges to be completed. Also in this mode you can be the cops, which is really cool. You can set out spike strips to blow speeder's tires (although it's not cool when you're the speeder and the cops do that to you)!
World Racing is the exact same thing except without cops. It also has 30 challenges to be completed. Also, in both modes you can do a race for fun, where you don't choose the track or your car(Quick Race). Or you can do a race by yourself, where the person in last place is deleted each lap, and on, and on, and on. So hop behind the wheel, whether you're a cop, a speeder, or just a regular person, and...3...2...1...GO!

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is the best racing game I've ever palyed. The graphics are amazing and you have 50 awesome cars from the McLaren to the Ferrari to the Lamborghini to the Mercedes Benz and more. The game never gets old because there are different ways to unlock all of the cars. You can also be the cop in this game which is freakin great. The controls aren't that hard to figure out, and there are even different control settings you can have. There are plenty of awesome tracks with shortcuts and jumps too. I recommend Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 even for non racing fans because i have more than one friend that its changed.

This is a great game. The new tracks are great with the shortcuts and the cars look very realistic. The cops are a lot smarter and the championship racing mode is well-designed. I also like the points system that awards you for cool jumps and taking the lead. The only bad thing about the game is the music. As with the last nfs game, the soundtrack is a bizarre mix of alternative rock and techno beats. If you are a racing fan, you should definitely buy this game at once.

This game is a combination of racing and being pursuied by cops.It uses the top racing cars in the world.I rented this game at Blockbuster and fell in love with it within hours.I really like the game but not the series.I would buy it after I rent it. Check it out.
