This game is very good way much better than TTT...it has some new features for example co-op mode,new playable characters such as Gandalf the white(FINALLY)Samwise Gamgee,Frodo Baggins and as usual Gimli,Arargorn and Legolas.This game has really good grafics and great sound.There is about 13 or 12 levels plus secret levels and 3 secret characters....some very good improvements in grafics and other gameplay stuff...for example the new upgrades and abilities of all the charcters...

I Would give it 9 out of 10...very good game

This is one of the games out there that looks better than it is. Before you jump on me, let me say that I am a great Lord of the Rings fan! I read all 3 books, the Hobbit, and the other books that add detail to Middle-earth by Christopher Tolkien. And I own all the extended edition DVDs so far. However, this game disapoints me. I admit I really wanted to buy it before, but after playing it with a friend from start to finish, I decided it wasn't worth the $50. After you do the last mission (Black Gate) there isn't much else to do. There is no real multiplayer, only co-op on missions. And the secret characters you've used before you got them--they only have different names. I have to say, EA has disappointed me with this game. The least they could do was add some kind of dueling multiplayer mode, like NightFire.

This game is really hard and it took me a long time to beat it. There is one level which is very hard. I just beat the game. It was very tough. The game has less levels so it's harder than the two towers. I think everyone should buy this game, but you need to be an expert to beat it.

Return of the King

If you liked Two Towers then you will definitely like this one. This is pretty much the same short and hard but this one has awesome new features like co-op and characters like Gandalf, Sam, Frodo, Pippin, Merry and Faramir. You'll get to fight some cool guys like Sauron Witchking and Shellob. To sum it all up this is a definite 5 star game, and I strongely suggest buying it.

I love this game.. its very entertaining and the game play is very good.. the environments are very well done and the voice acting is great.. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is for two reasons. I really enjoy the co-op play its fantastic but I would have rather had it split screen. Its just too annoying when you can only be a certin distance from the other player, it's like being connected at the hip. The other problem is the 'fighting ability' your friends when controled by the computer. Its pretty much non existant, they might as well be paper weights. Good example, in one of the last levels when all four players are required to fight the final battle of middle earth, if any one of the characters die you all die.. so you end up spending more time protecting the computer controlled characters then fighting the endless stream of orcs.

However, all I really enjoyed the game (I coudln't put it down until i beat it) but think it could use some slight changes. Also as stated.. unless you want to runin the ending I would wait until you either read the book or see the movie befor you beat the game.

You can't get a better two player co-op game anywhere. This here dosen't play by the rules you see it in every store. Where I couldn't find "Desert Storm Back to Baghdad" anywhere for a while. This is the best ever. If you a lord of the rings fan get this game. And you cand hook up the "Return of The King" GBA version to get bonus points at the end of each level! It's the best game if you like swordplay. And the last one "The Two Towers" it's combos were horible, but this has combos you see in the vidio at the theater. And there not the stupid combos like in the last game!!! Oh yea if your readin this and you have the game whach "the hobbits on gameing" it's one of those movies you earn each levle, it's hillarios! Well c ya. Oh yea before I forget be Gandalf and Aragorn!!!

This is by far one of the best hack-n-slash games I have ever seen. Return of the King also has some really fun elements of RPGs such as the character building system and the ability to purchase new attacts or upgrades. The graphics as smooth and solid, the sound is great. And the game play gives you some of the best control I have ever seen in a video game. The only set back is the fact that some of the levels my be to difficult from some novice gamers. However when they figure out the trick to each stage they can beat it. If you are a Lord of the Rings fan and or enjoy a great game purchas this gem on your platform of choice.

Its such a kewl game the co-op is amazin and single plyer is even better i beat it in 4 days it was the best game i bought on gamecube everyone should have it it is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Lord of the Rings The Return of the king is a very fun game. In this one, you can choose to be many new charactors including Gandalf, Sam, Mary, Pippen, and many others. The graphics are excellent, just like the rest. In this one, you can go on missions with two players, which makes it twice as fun. Gandalf can shoot some kind of blue blasters and the others can shoot arrows, turn invisible, and others. I bought this game and I loved it, epecially the really hard missions toward the end. I would encourage anyone to buy it.

This game is one of the best games out there. You get to choose between Gandalf, Sam, Gimli, Aragorn, and Legolas and with your character, save middle earth. You can unlock three more characters in the game and it's worth it. The co-op is a great feature in this game and there's nothing as much fun as saving middle earth with a friend in this game. The music is wonderful, the graphics are beautiful, and gameplay can't get much better.

It's only downside is that there's not that many levels.

This game rocks.
