It was a pretty good game, but face it, if your not a lord of the rings fan you might as well be starin at a blank screen. It has some solid gameplay and awesome boss battles. If you want a nice fantasy game, you've got one right here! You can go in three different paths and it is pretty cool to see how all the paths are different yet have an effect on each of the others' paths.
ROK video game is great, but has a few minor faults

Ok, first of all, I loved this game. The scenery from the levels was as true as it can get to the movie, from Minas Tirith, to Paths of the Dead. Also, the characters are pretty realistic, however there are a few flaws in their facial features. The best part about this game is how you can control the whole fellowship, and how all the characters attributes are similar to the movie. For example, Frodo is not as strong as Aragorn or Legolas. The worst part is that once you beat the game, you can take any character to any level, which doesn't work since you don't see Frodo or Sam going to Minas Tirith in the movie, haha. Over all this game is a solid 4 stars.
very entertaining but is to easy to beat

This is the video game to the final book of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It follows more along the lines of the movie which it was adapted from. Now where to begin... The graphics are some of the best i have seen in gaming. The characters almost look photographed. I have been playing for weeks and have yet to see a single glitch. The levels are laid out well. Though they are rather linaer. It is also nice to know that it is'nt all action too. This game actually requires you to think at some parts to figure out the puzzles. There are three different story modes(Wizard/King/Hobbits) for you to choose from. So if you get tired of playing one mode just go into another one for a change of pace, and scenery. There is around 15 levels all togather. Also a host of characters to unlock along with other secrets i wont spill here. You will just have to play to find out. The best part about this game that actually made it worth owning above all the other LOTR games is the addition of a 2 player co-op mode. There is nothing like taking on the hordes of Middle Earth with a friend. Also having to use strategy to help keep each other alive and do certain things it takes two to handle. Although i warn you now. you might want to take the adventure alone the first time you play. Cause once you go co-op you never go back. I played through a single mission on single player then got with a friend to take on the game as a team. once i played it on co-op mode i could'nt quite get the feel of single player again. Its just not as fun by yourself. so if you love anything LOTR you owe it to yourself to buy this game. Just make sure you have a friend at hand to call upon once you get tired of the single player mode. If your anything like me it wont take long until your asking anyone to play with you.
