This is the best Metal Gear Solid ever made,I liked the second except for one thing,Raiden!In this one you play with Big Boss and you sneak,eat,and kill in the jungle.I have the demo and I liked it so much taht as soon as the demo ended,I Pre-Ordered it at Gamecrazy!A Must-Have For Metal Gear Solid fans!

i know this game is going to be the greatest part yet. i have read all the reviews and seen the trailers and i know this game rules. Now solid snake is no longer who he was b4. you play as a different person now, some kid of secret agent, referred to as snake eater. watever, now he can hang from trees, struggle 4 survival by eating animals(snakes) and since there is no radar you have to listen close to hear bent twigs forshadowing troops. remember, now hunting dogs are on the lookout as wel.

Going to be great!

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the sequel to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, except that the game may not be considered a true "sequel", seeing as it has been confirmed by Hideo Kojima that the game will take place in the 1960's - before every game in the Metal Gear game series, including the first ever. There has also been much debating about whether or not you will play as Big Boss in the game or Solid Snake, and when Hideo Kojima was asked this question he replied that we were on the right track by thinking that it was Big Boss. This game goes "Back to the origin", meaning natural areas such as jungles instead of buildings (the first Metal Gear as apposed to the new Metal Gear Solid's). Snake (or Big Boss) will have to hunt to maintain his health now, and a special "camouflage index" will help him do this - depending on what type of camouflage you choose to wear, animals and enemies will not be able to see you as well. If you own a Network Adapter for your PS2, then you may even be able to download new camouflages!

well the reason for why i gave it five is plain simple, i have been an avid gamer ever since i got nintendo back in the earlly 90's, yes i was very behind but thats not the point, the point is that i love video games and this one i have to say has been the better looking of metal gears 1 and 2, although 1 is still the best, but 3 has the better looking levels, better looking gameplay plus you get to eat animals, this game looks and feels more realistic than any of the tactical games out there for all of the game sysmtems out there, yes halo is good, halo 2 looks cool and half life 2 looks really cool, but doom 3 i think is gonna bomb becuase it just doesnt look all to promising,... but another reason why i gave it five is because it looks very complicated and i think that this game will be a better challange than just ducking behind crates and hiding in cardboard boxes, how silly would that look when you are in the middle of the jungle "just a box!!!" yeah like that would work, espcially walking three feat behind the guy and than your spotted, also i think people want more of a challange to play, because if the game was easy, might as well have the game be a movie and play itself, so watch the trailer is my advice as well as dont bash it untill you try it, although it might seem silly for me to say that since I havent played it I am just keeping an open mind untill comes out, so I hope that this has been helpful to anyone. oh and remember to keep an open mind about things and also remember to spell check and not sound like an idiot when you write a review or just keep it to your self and deal with what others think.

This game looks so good. I hope there are stealth attacks and more selection of guns than the others. I heard he lives by eating snakes. This looks go much better than the others.

First there was Metal Gear 1 and then Sons of Liberty and now there is 3 ? Well i knew it was gona come out sooner or later but wats up with the title Snake Eater huh? Wats the story gona be about tis time? Well i think it is gona be great for all u people out there who likes tis game and understands them, tats cool. Well lets get on to the point here. I hope that tis game will be alot better than the rest and more other games. Also i know it will have better grahpic than before and have a great story to the game. I understand the game really well but only one thing is bothering me (besides the title) i want to know wats up with the 13 or 12 patriots. Otocon said they were dead 100 years ago and tat freaked me out. And guys out there i know u were scared to ( dont lie ). Well even though i haven't fine out the myster yet i will fine out in the next chapter. I hope u will all enjoy it cuz i know i will.
P.S. Im gona get the game first !!

Yes, you can hide in the bushes and eat snakes all day. Thats enough for some sheep to give it five stars. What if the story sucks, its full of bugs, nothing works, the graphics fails and the sound and music is terrible. What if the stealth was like in Tomb Raider 6! What if they decided to have Raidens voice on the main character!
Then again some other sheep uses their review to tell everyone that they suck in stealth games, and obviously hate them. Great! I'll join the sheep, and use my review to blow off some steam!
(and of course I'm on my toes waiting for this game...)

If u havent ever played any metal gear games then THERE IS STILL TIME for u to go get one of them and try them out. f u have a GC then get Twn Snakes or if u have a PS2 then get Substance(they r both amazing) if u dont have ethier then u r screwed!(uless u have a verygenerous frend wth one of these consoles)And all of the ppl wrtng revews about moon rovers.......Fin STOP IT! not cool ppl! I rated ths game from what have seen on X-play, gamer mags and any other sources I can find with info on games. If u r a fan of Slnter Cell and ga,es lke that then u wll probably like this mixture of splinter cell, medal of honor, and a bad, twisted soap opera

MGS 3 looks to be ridiculously good. If my theory on how this game will play is true, then it will be one i've been hoping for since the PS2 came out. The game will have a story, but from what i've seen, it looks like it will be more about just surviving. You have no radar, you have to use your surroundings and your camoflouge to survive, and from the looks of it, you'll have to use strategic moves in order to defeat your opponents. This is what im excited about the most. In MGS 2, the game was fairly linear; you followed hallways and such to get to your destination. However, in this one, its a whole jungle to get lost in. You'll be able to go anywhere and everywhere, using tools and your wits to survive. It also looks to be an incredibly beautiful game as well. Everything is detailed with care, which becomes truly amazing when you think about how big the jungle is. There will be weather effects, dynamic ligthing,-everything that you can think of when you picture a jungle. From what i've heard, it also sounds superb. You hear wildlife wherever you go, when your near water, you can hear the trickle of a stream. MGS 3 could turn out to be the best in the series, and already looks like it will be a landmark in the history of stealth-featured gaming.
