Mercenaries Game!!!

It is a very fun game because you can do anything you want to do. You can work for whoever you want. If you have any cheats, it makes the game 3 times more fun. Its an older game but it is still great!!!

Mercenaries:Playground of Destruction,GTA going commando?, Nope better!

I got bored of GTA about one week after GTA:San Andreas,GTA3 and Vice City were gold games,but San Andreas was the same damn thing.After that I doubt GTA will ever be as good,I have missed out on the new PS2 version of Liberty City Stories and unless there is any decent changes I might not even buy GTA IV when it comes out on PS3 and XBOX 360.
To tell you the truth,I prefer THIS game;Mercenaries:Playground Of Destruction to any GTA game on the market.Its more fresh and there is actualy MORE FREEDOM within the game.
Mercs has much better graphics,Better storyline,you get hired by diffrent factions to do work,just like real-life mercenaries do.You can blow up almost anything in sight.You get three characters to choose from an American man,Swedish man(the Swede is BEST) or a British/Korean woman,each merc has his/her own unique special abilities.
There is LOADS to do that this game kept me playing and exploring for nearly 2 months,and I still play it as often as possible.The game is made even funner by punching in cheats!
The sequel to "Mercenaries:Playground of Destruction" is coming out for XBOX 360 and PS3,Its gonna be called "Mercenaries 2:World In Flames".PS3 is my next-gen console,and along with MERCS 2,I will also be buying MGS4,Cipher Complex,Call Of Duty 3 and sooo many others.
People need to stop with GTA,its so OLD now and I hope GTA4 will be the last installment because I`m SICK of its hype.This is what I think:
MERCENARIES series>>>GTA series>Driver series>The Getaway series>>>>>>>>>>>TrueCrime(TRUECRAP sucks,lol).

Mercenaries is the best game I have ever played! Shooting people and blowing stuff up has never been more fun. Those stupid North Korean soldiers think they can win a war against 5 other factions. This is to any North korean soldiers reading this review. You suck, and America can beat the crap out of you! By the way my favorite character is Chris Jacobs. I strongly recommend people choosing him.

This is a great game I really love this game a lot!!!!
If you ever played Grand Theft Auto you will love this game and find it is much similar but the violents whent down quite a bit.If you just started the mercenaries game and try to go to the store and get stuff, you cant right away untill you beet a couple contracts. Don't get stresed out you just have to play it a little bit. If you are just doing the contracts and not exploring areas in-between contracts it will be some what boring. If you explore the North Koren territor [Wich is located strait passed the South Koreans huge air bace] you will find a lot of hidden treasurs like empty tanks you can get in with out hijaking. Theres other stuff there but I havent had the time to check it out becaus my ps2 is currently broken. I will hopfully get it fixed so I can tell you what the other hidden treasures are. When you go in-between areas and watch the screen load. there are messeges that apeer like don't want to kill your enemy? Stunn them with the stunn greade. These will be extreamlly helpfull even if you skim throgh them. Have you ever had to kill a memmber of the deck of 52 and then conferm him? Your better off to stunn him with the stunn grenade, he will just stand thier but you will be able to cunferm him and get a lot of extra cash than you normally get payed. If you ever thoght Grand theft atuo was to violent you will feel that this game is grand theft ato and the vilolence was just taken away. so this is a good game for young kids who arent aloud to pla M rated games. Over all this game is really exiting and you will not want to put the controller down!!!!

Mercinaries is a overall a fun game. You have fun blowing up everything in site. You start doing a rescue mission at first and once your done your free to run around the huge City in North Korea. But your not all free you have to kill any korean soilders you see and capture all the card numbers like the 2 of Aces the evil Weapon Consaultent. And America is not the only Country helping there is China, Japan, Britian, Russia vs Well North and South Korea really. The gamplay is nice with all the weapons, and fights with soilders in a huge battles. You gain respect by Helping the good countries not like France. Overall its a fun game with nice graphics and a colorfull backround of blood and fire. I give it 4 stars but really a 4.5 if you could but a 4.5.

Other than the occasional freezes where you have to reset the game, this game is very addictive and just plain fun.

Whazup with the Star Wars references? (good game though)

OK, ima huge sci-fi buff and hardcore starwars nerd but i find the SW references in this game annoying and retarded; and this goes beyond that Han Solo/Indiana Jones cheat; you know those Jets that fly overhead? get high enough in the air and you`ll see that they`re X-wings! do you read the news ticker at the bottom during the cutscenes? one time it said: "Tipico city: clones cloned" and another said "international comitee offically says: Greedo shot first" whaz this doing in World War III? you tell me....

One of the most awesome games ever!!!!!

When i heard about this game and did some research on it i thought i was gonna be in for a real awesome game. and boy was i wron.......right!!!! this game ROCKS!!!! i dont know how u couldn't give this game 5 stars!!!!! this beats Grand Theft Auto by a mile!!!! and most people will argue what i just said but heres why. in GTA u can car jack, plane jack, just about anything. but GTA HAS NO PLOT!!!!! i enjoyed San Andreas but not half as much as this game!!! in mercenaries u can car jack, and u can jack helicopters too. but mercenaries has a plot to it. thats what makes this game awesome!!! and the fact that u can blow up anything makes a difference too. hint: for all u people who can't figure out how to blow up the big bridges buy the cheat weapons crate. it has a miniture air strike gun in there and shoot the big bridges with it twice and...KABOOM!!!! no more bridge. this game is a must buy!!!!!

This game is very cool, the team A.I. could be better, and it would be cool if you could give your comrades orders. Good graphics, pretty good sound, and a good replay value. The downsides to this game is that if there are a bunch of enemies with R.P.G.'s you're dead, you'll be blown up in an instant. The only other protest I have about this game is that, the map is big, which is good, but if you get lost it can get boring, if you've played this game, have you ever fallen off of a cliff, into some deep chasm below, and it took you thirty minutes to an hour to get back to civilization. Also if there is a war going on, it would be cool, if it was going on all around you everywhere you look infantry, tanks, aircraft, mortars, missiles, it should all be happening every second of the game. Not just a few roaming jeeps that get blown up in an instant. Really. After all this whining, you'd think I'd call this bad, no. It has some major downfalls, but out of all of the roaming games, like G.T.A. or other games like that, this one has captured the sense of THINGS going on all around. I'm not saying it did fantastic on this I'm just saying it did better than others.
