This game kicks ass! If you want a game that lets you carry an airstrike in your pocket, or decimate an entire city with a nuclear bomb, this is the one you've been waiting for!

P.S- If you want a lot of money to buy all of these things, just press the right directional button and go to the factions screen on your PDA and press right,down,left,up,up,left,down,right. You will hear a sound and you will have tons more money. hit this cheat as many times as needed.

Rent it.....

Best fun I have had in a long time. Great game. However, I'd never pay $50.00 for a game I can't play online. It's worth renting for sure.

i have read that some of of you are saying this is a tough or even a frusterating game and it takes you 20 tries before you finally beat the mission but really its not that hard.. i have already beaten the the game with no cheats in about 50 hours.The way i beat the game is by using stealth. I take out my targets from a distance instead of charging in there.The weapons that i used for most of the game was a snipe and a prototype rifle which both have scopes except the prototype rifle you can only shoot one bullet at a time because if you dont the gun will go straight up in the air and you will be shoting at nothing.i also took advantage of the disguises that you can get when you jump into a vehicle because then i normally got into a north korean scout helicopter so i could get to places faster and the north koreans wouldnt shoot at me when i was planning a attack on them when i was doing a mission,getting a number or face card, or if i was just flying over.but you cant get the snipe ,prototype rifle,or the helicopter delivered to you until about the 2nd or 3rd level.a little tip for saving some money when it comes to supply drops,air strikes,and vehicle drops is the more friendlier the mafia is toward you the less it will cost.this is a really good game if you like to run around and really do what ever you want.the only thing that i dont like about this game is the you lose money if you kill a civilian or an AI soldier.they are also working on another mercenary game called a world in flames that is going to take place in Venezuuela and instead of just flying helicpters you will also be able to fly jets to.The only bad part about this is it is going to be for the ps3 and to play the game you need to GET the ps3 but the ps3 is going to cost 600$.Thats pretty expensive for a game system.

I love this game alot, but theres like 5 loading screens before you even start playing. Since im not allowed to play gta, i play this instead.
My dad thought it was like gta and some other war game mixed together.

how can i put this.... it sucks.

the only way i can explain the positive reviews for this game are simply my theory that gamers are idiots. they'll play anything if it's given good reviews and other people like it. there's nothing new in mercenaries that hasn't been done before. you accept a contract. you drive around to the bad guy and subdue him or kill him. o...... k. all this has been done before (and vastly more interesting) in games like metal gear solid, call of duty, hitman etc. etc. etc. it's not fun or challenging, or original. also the gameplay itself is bad. shooting people isn't fun here, you just pull the trigger and move your crosshairs across the screen. boring. the graphics aren't very good either. just because other people say it's good doesn't make it so.

Mercenaries is the best game I have ever played! Shooting people and blowing stuff up has never been more fun. Those stupid North Korean soldiers think they can win a war against 5 other factions. I like to put infinite health and ammo on and go attack the North Korean base. By the way my favorite character is Chris Jacobs. I strongly reccomend people choosing him.

the minute i put it in i knew that it was the best game that i had ever played. Its a GTA approach but without all the sensless killing. the graphics are awesome too i would highly recommend this game

This is a rly great game. I luv how u can blow stuff up. THe cheat crate is sick!!!! It can be a bit frustrating at times, especially when trying to capture the cards, but it is worth it. I luv this game cause it has tons of replay value when i beat it i can keep playing it and it will be awesome!!!

I Really think this game is great some good points are that any thing that moves u can drive steal it or blow it to bits and grafics are good to but some bad parts are some times it tents to freeze for like 2 seconds the go good again but i was on a rescue mission and it froze and one of my guys were running in the proccess and all out of no were he goes fling and dies so then i had to start the mission all over again but over all it is GREAT!!!
