Brutal Difficulty Level

Less than half way through this game the difficulty on the missions (contracts) becomes ridiculous. There are no difficulty levels to choose from. I wouldn't go for this game unless you're a hardcore gamer with a lot of patience.

this was a great game, you get to but trucks, tanks, cars, and helicopters. you get to but missle strikes which are pretty cool. and u can get amo crates with expolisves in them and different types of guns. overall i give it an A+

FORGET THE US MILITARY AND NORTH KOREAN ARMY TOUGHER AND MERCENARIES COOL GAME AND SOME OF THE MISSIONS CAN HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE ONE INCLUDES NORTH KOREAN ARTILLERY WHICH US MILITARY CAN'T TAKE OUT AND SOME OF THE MISSIONS ARE FACT LIKE NORTH KOREAN ARTILLERY ARE REAL AND MERCENARIES COOLEST GAME I EVER PLAYED

One of the best games I have ever played. A bit hard but all the missions are managable.

Pros:

-You can do anything. I like it when I can strap C4 on a truck and ram it to a bunch of enemies and blow them up...
-You can care or not care how factions are toward you. I like to play just to earn money and not care about them liking me.... It's all about #1

Cons: When sniping you dont get much cover... and it's hard to get on roofs and such... You have to have a copter to get on the roofs.

AI is good. They tend to be bad shots (except for those darn RPGs) but they will use everything they have to kill you. They will try to run you over (if in a vehicle) and if that fails they will get out and try to shoot you with a pistol. also they are smart enough to use your own gun (if mounted on a vehicle) to kill you.

this game realy rocks. it has great grafics, and i think it is cool how you can hijack any vehicle you want and use it any way you want.

This game IS NOT to be compared to games like GTA it is a different arena, in Mercenaries you play a Merc who accepts high-pay contracts from anyone, militaries, mafias peace keepers and so on, but it is done by choice, whereas in GTA you follow a more linear path of crime and getting cops after you as such.

Mercs=Total Destruction Sandbox game

GTA=Crime Sandbox game

Rockstar has done it again with Grand Theft Auto: North Korea

a few weeks ago i returned my borrowed copy of gta: san andreas to my friend and i was like: "That game rocked!" and he said "gta: north korea is better. i didnt even know that existed so i borrowed his copy, it had a case with no cover so i had no idea wat was inside, so i go home and see that its called Mercenaries and i thot he gave me the wrong game. so i try it and it ROCKED! imagine gta in a warzone with 5 factions fightin each other. YOU MUST GET THIS GAME!

This Game is awesome! I love that you can buy supplies, veicles, and air strikes! It is cool how there is two areas to cause havic in. One downfall to the game is that it says you can drive any veicle you can get to well that is false. You can get rigt net to a jet but you can fly it! If your going to say that you can drive ant veicle you can get to you should be able to drive any veicle you can get to! You also can get on a boat but you can't drive drive it. But other than that this is a solid game. Here is how I look at the game:
GTA + Army = Mercenaries

This is a unique game,its a sandbox wargame.Personally a enjoyed this more than GTA:San Andreas since this was a more fresh game,GTA is beginning to get old,so is The Getaway,TrueCrime,Driver and all the other GTA clones,Mercenaries:Playground Of Destruction itself is not a GTA clone as its a totally different concept,its based on military-related stuff like warfare,infact being a mercenary itself is military-related,it has the mafia and diffrent "factions" fight against each other in a gangwar style way,and your mercenary picks who he/she wants to work for.
I will divide the game into PROS,MIDS and CONS:

Pros:
-sandbox wargame!
-Three mercs to choose from.
-destructive environment
-call in airstrikes and stuff.
-You literally get a "Playground of Destruction".

Mids:
-Graphics:They are not spectacular,But better than GTA`s anyday.

Cons:
-Kinda weak physics.

Merenaries is an overall good game. You can get in just about any vehicle you see but if youre in certain vehicles you get shot at. Your best bet with vehicles is a civilian vehicle because nobody shoots at you.
