This game is horrible. The driving is horrible with a not to large variety of cars and the only good cars you can get are in the free ride. Also, when you crash or get shot in a car you lose health.There aren't very many weapons, and when you need a certain type of weapon you never get it. The game isin't very realistic either, you can shoot somebody with a shot gun point blank and watch them go flying back only to see them get back up and start shooting you. There is to much loading in the game to, you have to load about five times to get around the whole city. This is definitly not one to buy. It was another attempt at a GTA that failed horribly.

This game is the best I ever played cause it is so real and it really hook you and it fun cause it as a story tha6t make sense, no monster or other crazy things. My point of view is almost perfect, cause the cars are real and all, the guns are real, the gameplay is great and the realism is awesome. Perfect game for people that like to go back in time and be a gangster!

This game is just like a movie, the crime boss in Mafia is like the leader in the godfather...old... And what game do you get lead a gang of physcos with sub-machine guns. You get to shoot people up, Hit them with bats, we''re talking international assasins.

Good animation and video. Plays similar to GTAuto.

This is the worst game anybody could play. The game's graphics were horrible-might as well give 'em to ps2......geez. The gameplay was crap, so fun driving an old car that goes like 5 mph just to drop somebody off. The thing that really pisses me off is that the cover of it makes it look to good. Really I mean you wanana have a good shooting-mafia time, but you can't when your driving your grandmas car the whole time........ I reccomend you not renting/ or buying this game, its just not worth your time...Unless your new at games and yer Italian then well....whatevr....I would give this a 0 rating but I can't cuz Amazon wont let me lol.

Well first i was playing it.Then I found out that its terrible.I just felt like ripping it up and burning it but it wasnt safe

I liked the story, and the graphics are nice, but the cars are so slow, the game play so awfull, that i just could not stand it.

And then when you cross that damn bridge, the game goes in to a sort of "loading..." state, and that was enough.

Ans despite what anybody says, the cars are horrible driving and slow as heck.

Vice City 1930?

No. Although the premise is good, the game is not. The gameplay is awkward. I reccomend Max Payne as a good supplement to this.

Old School GTA

Other than all the driving and loading,this game is awesome!I recommend it to all GTA fans.The AI is smart so this game is not just some stupid "beat in a week" game.The graphics are amazing too!Anyone who takes the time to beat it will be satisfied in the end.

There is a new game coming out for PS2,XB & PC called The GodFather and Mafia will probably be its first match as they are both set in older times much before street gangs came in and grafitied,hit with baseball bats,wore greasy clothing,rode low riders and listened to "Fowl-Mouthed" Rap,no the times when groups of men drived posh cars,dressed in dark suits,listened to opera,wore shades,used a shotgun in black and white movies(who do you think is best the old 30`s 40`s poncy Mafia men or todays common street Gang"Sta"s?) by the way this is not a review i`m just talking about Mafia vs. The GodFather and i know this will happen but it will be also compared to those cartoony GTA series i hate those games now infact i don`t play crime/bad driving games no more(games like GTA,Driver,Getaway ect.) i am now a stealth-game junky(James Bond 007,Metal Gear Solid,Splinter Cell & Mission:Impossible game series) so i don`t use this genre anymore
