when i first saw the game for number 5 on top games. I new i wanted it. My littlwe bro like eww that game is horrible. I ask my grandma 2 buy it for me and it so fun. I lov it if u like games that r easy than play this one

In an age where ideas from video games seem to come from a kindergarten class, Namco has created something I for one have never seen in a game before. You roll around a ball and collect stuff and make it bigger. Sure, it may sound like crap, but its actually pretty awesome. Katamari Damacy is great fun for the whole family - there's nothing objectionable at all so its great for kids, and if you're older and don't like it, then play it while high and I assure you, you will be entertained for days!

Good for addicting play

This game is good for the person that has relatively no coordination. You use the main joysticks and dont have to worry about the advanced play like newer games have. Last but not least, it's as addicting as Tetris for the novice.

The guys who made this game must have been on an acid trip at the time. All you do is roll over objects, picking them up, and you get bigger. There is no point to this game! Dont read the other reviews! This is a bad game. The only reason it gets two stars is because sometimes it is SOOOO bad, it can be funny.

I bought this for kids that play Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, hoping this would be a nice diversion. Ugh, it was awful I thought. I tried to be enthusiastic about it, but it was so slow, the graphics were dated looking and it just seemed tedious to play. There was more dialogue than I wanted and it just never captured anyones attention. I feel bad for the person who bought it from me.

I mostly agree with the other reviews- this game is way different than anything else, it is funny and it is fun.

However, I think it lacks something when it comes to two players. It becomes really reptitive and boring after a while in 2 player mode.

If you're looking for a fun game ou can enjoy with someone else, this may not be right for you.

Even with the PSP Grip attached, this game kills my thumbs. IMHO it's just too much for the little PSP controllers. This game is MUCH for fun on the PS2. I find myself losing my Prince on the edge of the screen, so i don't know which direction i'm rolling. Plus, you have to remember this game is timed so......... I hardly ever play this. If you want a game similar to this but much more friendly on your fingers, go for locoroco. That one uses only the L & R trigger buttons.
