Final Fantasy X-2 is very good. The story line is very confusing, but better than Final Fantasy X. the way of attacking is way cooler than ffx cuz u can use many more kinds of things.

This game is by far the best Final Fantasy game out on the market right now. This is a great game. I like how they added a sequel to the original FFX but if you havnt played or beaten FFX I wouldnt recommend buying this game because there is not that much backstory. They have a new battle system not the same one from FFX but this one instead of each party member attacking once at a time its based on how fast you can react to attack. For example u can have Yuna and Rikku attack at the same time to do more dmg to the enemy. In other words anyone can attack at any time. This game might seem kinda weird in the beginning with the new battle system but with consecutive game play I assure you that this game well be very addictive. BEST FINAL FANTASY AND RPG GAME OUT RIGHT NOW!

So far, i like fighting in the game more than anything else... The new battle system to me seems to require more attention.. and seems to be a little bit more fun. The dress sphere system is pretty cool, an interesting change.
But, as of now (i am in chapter two) there are no leads as of where i am to go.. you have to search all over spira.. which i dont mind of course but it can frustrate a gamer.
The thing about this game that makes me unsure, is the plot and storyline.
First off, expect this game to be a tad girly... the three main characters are all female so it's to be expected.
Second, what in God's name was square thinking with the music? The music is terrible! I use to LOVE listening to the dramatic themes in the FF series, but here.. there ARE no dramatic themes,
its like the 80's all over again... Its my personal belief that the music in a Final Fantasy game should match the environment...
Yuna has changed a lot... and so has rikku... Rikku is kinda Christina Aguelera-ish now, which is slightly irritating after a time... Paine tries to hard to be tough, and Yuna, sheesh, has turned into the jealous girlfriend who feels forgotten...
And what is up with Brother's crush on her? Its kind of strange,, you know.. considering Brother is her cousin and all.

I bought this game the very first day it came out, and i have been playing this game obbsessively since then. this story is about former summoner Yuna who, 2 years after the events of FFX, who is still greiving over the dissapearence of her love, Tidus. Now she goes around he world with her friends, Rikku & paine searching for spheres of Spiras(their homeland) history, and in the process maybe the truth about tidus. But enough of the story, here is the real review.
Graphics, 10/10- the incredible amount of detail put into the environments is so cool, its scary. The special cinemagraphic scenes are some of the best the PS2 can produce.
Sound, 10/10- The beautiful orchestral soundtracks are some of the best I have heard from squaresoft in years.
control, 8/10- moving your character is great and easily executed, but the frutrating platforming sequences make it a little diffucult for me to give it a perfect score.
lasting appeal, 10/10- with this game, FFX, and a PS2. RPG fanatics cant go wrong. But,with Final fantasy X-2's excellent graphics and sound, notto mention its packed with tons of replay value, this is the definitive RPG game of the year. But its ashame its already cruelly underapreciated.

This game is the best squaresoft game and will put enicks on the map. In this you level up no spheregrid which is a good thing. You use garmet grids and dresspheres. And rikku is hot.

Great and once again Great. What an excellent follow up
to FFX , i thought the bikini thing was a weird change (Hell i'm not saying it was a bad thing!). Not as good as FFX but a decent brilliant experience .Leaves too many unanswered questions at the end of the game though.
Conclusion:
Great game, not as good as ffx , BUT WAY BETTER THAN METROID PRIME!

Okay im going to tell you the truth you might think the people with the 1 star and 5 stars should you buy it or not!!!!!Well im telling you should,This game has great graphics,The stroy line is okay FFX was better storyline but this one is good.Also i love the fact there is only 3 chrs so you dont have to foucus on 7 people and dont gotta keep them up to each other.And the DressSpheres!!!!!!!!BRILLIANT,Thats the best thing i heard of now who would want just a chr thats a war black mage and a thief insed you can be a berserker dark knigth samuria alchemist anything u can think of.Belive me all those dumb people with the reviews saying this game sucks and stuff there dumb they dont no what real gaming is.I to tell you the truth beat the game pleny of times only problem was once u hit lvl 85 the game isnt realy that much challnging like i beat the boss in 7 hits but it was okay because knowing i spent hard work on those lvls was okay and even better NO MORE SPHERE GRID i hated that took me forever for the spheregrid this si just simple lvling and somtimes u just learn new things by every % your dresssphere is get this game BELIVE ME you will want it.
