There is more characters than that but in this game you can even fire triple shot's it even has a Saiyan Overdrive System and when you go on story mode and you beat an opponent you get a level up it is in Walmart,Target,Gamestop,ebgames,toyr'us and Gamespot (...)

I saw the the commercial for this game and this game is going to be so unbeleivible. But at the end of the commercial it said "In Stores November 23rd". Amazon has been telling us every since they had it on here that it was coming out the 16th. If the people at Amazon get a chance to read this you might want to look into it and fix your release date for this game. For those of you who haven't seen this comercial, then here are some things that have been said to not be true but was in the commercial which would mean the it is for sure going to be in the game.

Power struggles with 2 energy blasts

GTA style game mode which is totally 3D which allows you to pick a character an roam freely around the DBZ universe such as small citys and, islands, mountians and more. This is going to be just like the show. You can walk at anytime or take it to the skys and fly at lighting speeds at will.

I know for a fact that at least one of the shadow dragons will be in this game because Goku was fighting one of them

A whole new fighting system which has been completly redone

Damage can now be done to the stages

12 levels

Remember whenever you transformed in the last 2 games and all the happened was a quick white flash then you were transformed. This time around it's much closer to the show. It takes about to 2 seconds to transform and it make a pretty good sized explosins. If you watch the show then you know that the character sometimes scream when there transforming kinda like there in pain, this is how it's going to be when you transform in this game.

Another thing that's really cool is change in apperance. Example: says you are playing as Goku and you are fighting Vegeta and he uses is Big Bang Attack. After Goku is hit with the bomb he will be really scratched up and his clothes will be badly ripped.

Another thing is even though this game is still cell-shaded like Budokai 2. It looks so much better this time around. This game has some of the best looking cell-shaded graphics i've ever seen. Better than The Legend Of Zelda: The Windwaker and Viewtiful Joe.

Thats all that the commercial reveled except teleporting but everyone already knows that. I hope that this was helpful to every one

While most of the other reviews have focused on new characters, heres a list of new FEATURES in Budokai 3:

Multi-size fighting: Now fights can take place between two characters of different size, The Oozaru and Ougon Oozaru (Giant Ape/Golden Giant Ape) forms are now in for Goku and Vegeta, and any character of any size can fight them in this form. It also means larger characters like 2nd Form Frieza and LSSJ Broly will be accuratley proportioned.

Powerstruggles: When two beams collide, rotating the analogue sticks will pump more ki into them.

Teleporting AKA The Zwee Thing: It is possible to teleport behind or above your opponent, even during combos.

Decent Story: Covers all of DBZ and DBGT with all major fights and story events.

Fly anytime: You now don't have to wait for someone to be punched into the sky to start flying, you can swoop up and down at will.

More capsule slots: To cater for more moves and transformations for characters.

misleading....DO NOT..i repeat, DO not beleive anyone that ""REVIEWED"" this game has actually played it...

this here, ismore like a preview

-There are SSJ4 Goku&Vegeta(confirmed by Atari, Dimps, And the trailor)

-Brolly and Cooler are also in this game...

-Uub is in

-Bardock is in

-Gogeta and SSj4 gogeta is in

-most characters from B1 and ALL from B2 are in...

-Saibamen and Cell Jr's are in

-The ONLY confirmed shenron in the game is Syn/Omega(i forgot which one is the name, i think its syn) shenron

-the new rage mode, makes your character reddish(aura) with a white outline...makes them faster stronger, and take damage without showing it (not moving back after getting hit)

-the new dragon lash, allows u to do devestating combo's but also allows your opponent to defend

-fighting system is completely redone...
(some things still the same)

-can use Rage while tranfsormed, EX: goku using rage while SSJ4

-destroying stages by using massive ki ultimates

Thats about all I found out about characters. I also found out that you can be Gogeta and all other Fusions from DBZ B2 and gogeta can turn SS4
Some modes I found about are really cool
1) New teleportation counter- counter a blast if button pushed at right time
2)Dragon Road- Customize Characters Strength etc.
3)Free Flight mode- Fly almost any time
And mucch much more. This game is going to be awesome i already pre ordered and i cant wait till it comes. Peace out!!!

you know that review that said don't believe anyone that wrote a review and played the game? well, i played it, and i must say it is the best game in the entire world. it has several modes such as a newly designed story mode just for budokai 3, dragon road, duel mode,world tournament and much much more!there is at least 40 confirmed charecters in the game such as baby and the shadow dragons(syn haze nouva oceana naturon eis rage and omega shenron).here's a better list of the charecters.
You'll probably start off with Goku,Kid Gohan,Goten,

DragonBall Z: Budokai 3

DragonBall Z is back, and it is better than ever! Now, it has characters from the DragonBall Z, and DragonBall GT series, along with some characters from the movies! The game also has improved fighting!

Atari did a very good job in this third installment of the DBZ Budokai series! Amazing graphics, fast game-play, and loads of characters make this game the ultimate DBZ game, and in my opinion, I personally think that this game is better than it's sequel, DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi!

This game's graphics are two-demensional, cell-shaded, and very bright and colorful! These kind of graphics are not found in many games, and I think that they sometimes look better than the three-demensional graphics!

The story mode in the game is great! It is a somewhat "adventure" style story mode! You get to pick one of the story characters, and you can fly around with them int he environment provided! It is not exactly adventure because you you only have one destination, but it's kind of fun that you get to fly to it, and sometimes find some goodies on your way there!

Gameplay! This game's gameplay is amazing! The control combinations actually work, unlike the ones in DBZ Budokai: Tenkaichi, and the Finishing Moves in this game are the best, surpassing all the other games (including DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi)! The fighting is very fast, and will suit all exeptional players! The opponents you fight in this game are not impossible to defeat like the ones in DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi, and with cooperative button combinations, the bosses are very easy to defeat (unless you have the settings on hard)!

This game is a very fun game, and I recommend that you buy this game instead of it's sequel, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi (which is $50.00), for this game is only $30.00, and is, overall, a much better game!

There are so many good things I can compliment this game about; graphics, gameplay, destruction, action, and so much more, but there is just one thing that I did not like about this game.

The way they show you the story! I don't like it at all! This game has absolutely no cutscenes in it! All you see is a small picture of the face of the character that is talking with a speech bubble coming out of it! That is how they show you the story! Even in the first installment of the DBZ Budokai series they had better cut-scenes and character interaction! This is basically the only flaw/fault that I see in this game, and I definetly think it's the best DBZ game on the market right now!

Rating? 4.8/5

Recommendation? Rent it first, even though I think it's awesome, just to be safe, rent it from your local BlockBuster dealers to see if you like it! Have fun!

Im sure most of you have already seen the trailer and noticed that Brolly,Cooler and Gogeta are in the game and yea its true. You can tell the graphics are the same as Budokai 2 but the Aura is more realistic to the series. Instant Transmission is one of Goku's new attacks that replaces his Zanku Fist, instead this time he does the attack he did to brolly in the trailer. Brolly does have his base form and Cooler is said to be an exact clone of Frieza. And this game is supposed to have alot of the movie characters. Thats all for now. Ok here is new info... All of Frieza and Cell's forms are in the game and it is said that there will be a Story Mode, Dragon Road *customize your character* GOGETA IS IN THE GAME AND SO ARE SSJ4 FORMS!!!! (...)

This Game Is Going to ROCK!!! well i have played this game already at the San Fransico budokai 3 convention center cuz i am from Californai but now i live Oklahoma but whatever well i went to the convention on the 18 of August there were tons of people there but i managed to get a few Q&A's from one of the guys they said that they were going to have flight mode and teleport mode.Teleport Mode is when two people for exc: Goku Vs Gohan ok so lets say goku does a kamehameha at gohan so now gohan teleports out of harms way lets say behind goku then starts kicking goku(...).So here is another spoiler for ya in the game are:
