I never went to private school, thank god, so I dont know what its like. If Bully is anything like it im kinda sad I didnt go. It has every aspect of being a kid (slingshots, wedges, kiss and dont tell). The graphics are good for a Rockstar Grand Theft Auto-like game.
Could have made the mini games a little more in depth. Also could have made the area a little bigger, but then you would have to come up with a better means of travel.
Overall Bully is a very note worthy production by Rockstar. I cant wait to beat it.

Bully is one of the best games I've ever played. The best way I can explain it is, its like Grand Theft Auto on a school yard level. It Rocks. The characters and missions are very detailed and fun. Defenitly game of the year material here. I have the special edtion which was cool cuz it came with a comic book and a real dodgeball with the Bullsworth Coat of arms on the front. A MUST BUY!!!!

THIS GAME WAS FUN AND COOL

Banned from Germany, Columbine simulator, schools will be chaos and our children will become heartless juvinile delinquinces. Yeah, well I don't think that can happen from a game that's got a big ol' T in the lower left corner.

Bully is a cult classic of a game, to say the least. This game put in any/everything you could think of from a classy prep. school and exaggerates them by 10 fold. Bully's 'protaganist'(and I say that losly) Jimmy Hopkins gets dropped of in a, what looks like a great school, disfunctional school full of drunk teachers, sterotypical clicks, and one person(you) can save the school, become the king, and hopefully beat the game.

The good parts of the game are, well, the story(rockstar's known for that meaty story). It's full of wimsy cracks, we wished we could do when you get an F, and how to put down that egotistical bully in front of the school. The gameplays so-so, the fighting system could have been twerked a little, cause of the depth and lock-on system. The students at Bullsworth are so over the top. Rockstar exaggerated each group of students at an average school by so much, that the story is a great side-splitter! All the students have names and diffrent presonalities(com'on, who could forget Russel or Pee Stain). And finally, the classes are hella sick. They utalize boring high school chemistry, and some others, and changes it into fun little mini games, in which if you win, you can earn vital skills.

The bad parts are how short it is, the total thing would take bout 2 or 3 weeks to finish, but not including the extra tasks, and hidden things. The town of Bullsworth is not nearly as big as I would have expected it to be, and, Rockstar put in GAY bullies. Seriously. I know.

Parents, overal, this is a game that is fun. Your child will not go and bring a riffle to school, or try to become a pimp or whatever your fears are, they most likly won't happen. Cause it's rated T for a reason, no guns, killing, maming, sex. conduct(kissing), or knifes. Who knows? You might pick up the 'Dual Shock' controller and have a blast.

Just As Good As GTA

This game is so easy to get into, you don't even have to be a fan of other Rockstar games to enjoy "Bully". There is just so much that this game has to offer. This game not only features a compelling story, but it also has it's share of minigames in this game. Rockstar has proven that a game from them with no blood and death can still be very addicting and fun. Going to the carnival is probably one of the funnest parts of the game. There is just a lot of variety that will keep you playing for a long time.

I had been waiting for this game to come out and was worried about being disapointed but I was completely satisfied. It is a fun story to follow and alot of fun. It is not that difficult but challenging enough. Definitely fun! Enjoy.

Easy to pick up where you left off!

This game is great. I've already spent hours on this game running around the campus. I haven't gotten farther than all of the bully faction missions. From what I can tell, it has a very indepth storyline. You can leave this game for a week and then pick back up right where you left off. Good for people who don't spend a lot of time in front of their Playstation.

Rockstar's Best?

Bully is the latest in a line of fun games developed by Rockstar, and it may be their best effort yet. In my opinion it is. I have played the GTA series before, and I found Bully to be a great derivation of what makes that series so much fun. There are no guns, blood or prostitutes in Bully. But that's okay because this game is so much fun and it is a breath of fresh air from the GTAs out right now.

You play the game as Jimmy Hopkins, a troubled teenager who is dropped off at Bulworth Academy by mom and her new husband. Right off the bat Jimmy learns that Bulworth is going to be a tough school. There are different groups around campus that Jimmy must deal with: the nerds, the jocks, the greasers, and the bullies. The pranks Jimmy pulls on one group can raise your respect within another group. This will gain Jimmy some valuable allies and also will help his ascension of Bulworth Academy. The gameplay itself is almost a clone of the gameplay found in GTA. It is so much more expansive though! I completed about 75 missions by the time I had finished the game, but I only finished the game at 71%. You will be provided with hours and hours of fun gameplay, with so many things to do like bike races, odd jobs around town for money, egging houses, fist fighting, and actually attending classes. There is so much to do in this game, and the city in which Jimmy can roam is expansive as well. This is definitely one to keep in the PS2 collection. Great story, great graphics and great fun are all present. In my opinion this game beats any GTA any day of the week (even though GTA is still very good).

no "Columbine" simulator here!

A game that was attacked in the press a year ago for being a Grand theft Auto for kids is much more than I expected. Thagame tells the story of a kid sent to boarding school by mom and new step dad. The school is full of deversified characters and the missions are fun if not a little repetitive. The game is fairly long w/an interesting story.Graphics look good for a last generation game and the loading times are much better than in GTA games. If you prefer your games to be set more in fantasy worlds, this may be boring to you. Most of what goes on in the game is set in the real world .

Worth It!

I usually wait to buy new games until the price goes down a bit. Bully was one of those exception to this. I am very please and happy that I didn't wait. The game is truly entertaining...one of the best games since God of War and Prince of Persia. Granted, those are quite different from Bully in terms of story and action, but nonetheless, it is a game worth buying/playing.
