This game is very interesting if you are buying it to play every once and a while or to share with family and friends. As others have said, the questions start to repeat early on. I think the questions are more difficult than on the real show and the lifelines do not have the same effect. ***I DO recommend playing this game but I would share with family and friends because it does become repetitive so quickly. Hopefully it is because they wanted to get the game out around the holidays and in the future will offer upgrades or additional questions.

THIS IS THE WORST GAME TO COME ON THE MARKET FROM DISNEY. THE TV SHOW IS EXCELLENT. DISNEY GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD. I KNOW YOU GUYS AT JELLYVISION CAN DO A BETTER JOB. THE GAME HAS TO MANY REPEATS. DON'T BUY THIS CD-ROM GAME UNTIL DISNEY MAKES A RECALL OR MAKE SOMETHING WORTH BUYING. WE NEED A FEW THOUSANDS MORE QUESTIONS.

The game provided about one hour of continuous play before I started to see duplicate questions. After two hours of play (maybe 15 games), 5-8 of the questions were duplicates. I do not reccomend this game to anyone.

The Game is fun if you are patient to sit through alot of talking by regis. the problems that I have found seem to echo those of others who have purchased the game. The questions are repetitive. It needs a larger base of questions.I do like the timer feature. To me it makes the game more exciting and faster. I you want to pause the game and go look up the answer, just hit the "esc" button and that will do the trick.I agree that the game can be a little insulting but the atempt here is to mimick the real game. Even though I gave it only Three stars I still Recomend this Game if you like the show. Not Buying the game (if you are a fan )is like being a fan of the St.louis Rams And not owning as much as tee shirt with their logo on it.

Like many, I received this game as a Christmas gift for "practice" so I can win big $$$ on the real show. :) I have not encountered the repeating question phenomenon yet, and I like the tension builders - the music and the dramatic pauses. Here I thought that my computer was failing me, and it was really a feature built in to the program! For $, it is a fun game, but being a fan of YDKJ, I expected a little more from the parent company. Yet you are not sold short here. I enjoy it a great deal and probably will ne addicted in some time - just like I am with the show! :)

This is a great software. Everything seems real, and the graphics are great. The only problem is that the game starts repeating questions you've already had, it gets annoying because when you use ask the audience and phone a friend and their wrong. This also gets boring most of the time, so i'd suggest buying the secong edition if you already have this one. It is a great follow up. Also, there is one very annoying thing Regis does which you should be carful about. When you do a fast finger question, someone has to get is right, and if they don't Regis says "Oh my god, what happened here! Oh. . .eh. . .godness! I'm outta here!" and then the game quits! I can't believe Hasbro did that! To make sure that, that doesn't happen you should always play with two or more players. This is a great game in general, and it is really fun, but it is more fun if you have two or more people. Also, before you buy this make sure that you are prepared because these are harder questions then the TV edition. It's like you're startiong at the $1,000 question, but some questions are easy. This CD is also good for kids because it can increase their vocabulary and education, but an adult should always be around when they are playing to help them. I suggest this for you and your family, because it is entertaining and fun!

The pressure is on! I was at the $1 million question and suddenly I became really nervous, just like I would've on the real show! The question was about Aesop's fables. I used my 50-50 and the remaining answers were A & D. Then I used my final lifeline and phoned a friend. Regis's friend said it was A. I agreed with him and it was my final answer. YES! I HAD WON A MILLION DOLLARS! You might think it would've calmed me down, bt guess what? It made me even more nervous! This game is not worth it unless you want to rattle your insides. If you wanna feel the pressure and do the game, try the second edition. I haven't played it yet, but I think there'll be much less pressure. Although if you're smart, you might win $64,000 on your first game (like I did.) Also: THe questions keep repeating. Avoid this game like it is a mosquito or a bee or a wasp or something like that.
It's not their fault!

JellyVision has always made quality games, it appears to me Disney didn't give them enough time to make WWTBAM as awesome as the You Don't Know jack games. I hear there's a new improved version of WWTBAM already in the works.
The TV show is great just like the computer game

A lot of reviewers have been slamming this game into the ground because of its pathetically small question bank, and deservedly so; it's impossible to play this game for any reasonable period of time without running into repeated question after repeated question. This is simply inexcusable. What I find surprising, however, is how few people have commented on what's truly wrong with this game. I'm talking about a problem that absolutely dwarfs the repeated questions: the ludicrous question timer. Time limits on questions have ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE in Millionaire. It COMPLETELY DESTROYS the concept of the entire game. 200 questions? 2,000? 2,000,000? As long as that timer is there, IT DOESN'T MATTER. As long as that timer is there, this game has absolutely NOTHING to do with Millionaire. Until the timer is removed, to refer to this game as "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" is a shameful travesty -- and should be illegal.
