I was really excited about getting Who Wants to Be A Millionaire. The graphics are well done, and the game is much like the television version. Yet, after just a couple of hours, we began to get a repeat of questions. After just two days of owning this product, I'm lucky to get any new questions. Needless to say, I'm a Millionaire!
Fun, but could be more...

"Who Want's To Be a Millionaire" is a fun game. It has most of the major features of the show. As you would expect the lifelines, 15 questions etc.. There are a few things that you'll probably want to know though. I thought that it was rather annoying that there is a time limit for answering each question. (30 sec). Also, if you're used to easy questions at the beginning the game's questions at the beginning are a little harder than what you see on the show.
Next, questions at the beginning tend to repeat themselves after a while. (I just played for one day, and already started getting repeats, mostly at under $1000) The set of question's after the $1000 mark are almost always new.
I think the game mixes up the questions so you don't have the same set of questions twice, but you do get annoyed when you see a $1000 dollar question you've seen before as a $100 question.
The game also lacks a feature of the show or at least could have done it better. The fastest finger part of the game is designed for a lot of people. The order of the answers switches on the screen and you push a letter and whoever get's it first wins. For example if I push "A" and get if before the other people I win.
Ideally I think they could have had this feature where the other players are the computer. You see the question and answers on the screen and put them in order by pushing the corresponding keys. Eg. A,C,E,D.
In closing, I think the game is fun and definitely not bad for $20. If they make a new version they should have more questions, try to make questions not repeat as much, and make a better fastest finger where you play against the computer. Also make no time limit or at least a longer one.
They could have made this game better. They probably put it out in a hurry. The game is still fun and worth a try. Hopefully they will make a new version with some of the features that are missing in this one.
It brings the hot seat to you!

The Who Wants To Be A Millioniare CD-ROM game is a very fun game. The graphics are great and there are many questions. It is really fun to try to achieve the goal: winning $1,000,000. If you do win, you can start again and get a whole set of new questions. This is a great game for the whole family. This should be on everyone's Christmas list.
questions repeat itself too quick

I was anxious to get the game as I really like the TV show, but I have to say that the questions really repeat themselves after a short time. I otherwise like it, the theme music,Regis, but this I consider a minus.
needs more questions

The graphics are great and the cyber-Regis is a nice touch but this game is SERIOUSLY lacking enough questions. After about 10 games I started seeing some questions for the second time.

This game is just like the TV version. You run out of questions too soon. If there were more questions, this game would be fabulous.

The game starts out great, but you can get a little frustrated just trying to install the game. Once you are able to play, the graphics are amazing and the sounds are just too realistic, the animation is so superb that even Bill Gates would be jealous. There is a great explanation of the rules for persons who may not have seen the show before. With Regis talking and making jokes even if you lose (which we did) it makes the game fun and exciting. There are great challenging questions but are U.S. based. The lifelines are even fun you get all the options of the Television show except instead of you calling one of your own friends Regis calls one of his. The game is very exciting with lots of surprises around each corner. The only real disadvantage of the game is the multi-contestant, as in the Television show it's fastest finger but it is somewhat confusing and the computer does not always recognise when you have the right answer. All around though the game is exciting and lots of fun. Not in a long time has a computer game been so good that the whole family can gather around and play it together.
