WHO WANTS TO ANSWER THE SAME QUESTIONS!

The first time I played, I would give the game "4 stars," but as others have noted, the questions repeat too many times (regardless of whether the same person plays, or even if you play it on different days). The lifelines are not necessarily helpful, either. Regis is funny but he doesn't interact enough with you. It's still addictive, however.

The game was fun the first few times but as we continued to try for the million the questions were repeats. It made it very easy to win.

this game is really bad and the truth is it was rushed on to the market to capatalize on the shows success. now like every one i like the show but this game is not very challenging and shouldve been equipped with a LOT more questions...let me give you an example...I was over by my brothers house and his in-laws were there and playing the game that i brought(i had owned it for about 2 days) and as i was listening to them play they kept asking me if i knew the answers and i knew every single one because they were all repeats, all of them . this game started to repeat itself on the very first day. dont waste your money as so many others have(the game is still the second best selling game) if we accept this garbage then this is all well ever get. so if a game is subpar dont buy it and force the company to make quality games. have fun in your gaming adventures!

When I first heard that "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" was going to be made into a computer game, I thought it would be nice to try out. When I heard that the game was being developed by Jellyvision, the makers of my all-time favorite computer game, You Don't Know Jack, I just had to buy a copy!
Well, I was a little disappointed.
For one thing, the "multiplayer game" only lasts for about 15 seconds. After that, only one person gets to play until he reaches the end or misses a question.
If you play solo (which is basically the best way to go), questions repeat A LOT! But, don't worry, because I've had the game since Christmas 1999, and I am still finding at least two or three questions I haven't seen before.
In conclusion, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, I must admit, was a very hard task for Jellyvision to accomplish. It would have been nicer if they had made a You Don't Know Jack-like version of the game with Regis as the host or something.
But you know the worst thing about it? You can now get the entire game FREE if you buy a box of Lucky Charms! I SPENT ALL THAT MONEY ON SOMETHING I CAN NOW GET FOR FREE!! AAARRRRGGGHHH! :-)

After working for Jellyvision and purchasing every single "You Don't Know Jack Title", I became accustomed to the high-impact multimedia designs created by Jellyvision in their games. You would think, in a product marketed by BOTH Jellyvision and Disney Interactive, that there could be more interactive elements, better questions, and a greater similarity between the TV show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and the CD-ROM game. For starters, the CD-ROM is missing many crucial elements that would make it a success: 1. In every Jellyvision game, narration between the host and the player takes place. "WWTBAM" leaves you to fend for yourself. Even when incorrect and the correct answer is given, Regis does not explain why. 2. No video. Except for the opening and closing video clips with Regis and his wad of cash, there is no "live" video other than 3D transitions. 3. Sound. Sound could be more consistent. With all levels at max on my mixer, voices were still lower than music.
Obviously, the creators of this software were rushing to market this product before the holidays came and it is clearly evident.
This game and its concept are phenomenal, it just is lacking the critical elements seen in other Jellyvision products.

Graphics and sound are great, but questions repeat in the second game played which leaves no challenge for players. It becomes boring within ten minutes.
All in all, a very big disappointment.
Not as good as the TV show

The questions keep repeating over and over and the game gets very boring after a while. Then why do I give it 3 stars? because the graphics and Regis are great. I'd wait until a new version came out if I were you though.

The game, like most, is ok at first but then gets very repeatitive. It is not worth wasting your time, money, and energy to get this title. What makes it worse is regis is in it with his annoying voice, over and over again. Believe me,YOU DONT WANT TO BUY THIS GAME! Good advice, take it or leave it.

I got through about 10 questions, then they started to repeat...is there a flaw in my copy? Maybe there's a new question sometimes, but, they still repeat, which sucks up the fun. I love the TV show, but the game doesn't live up to the potential. My piece of crap processor can't handle the good graphics, which are snail-slow, and Regis is pretty annoying in the game, too. 20 bucks is a small price to pay for expectations, but a big price to pay for such a stupid game. Wanna be a millionaire? Save money on this game.
