The Game of the Year for PC's

I think that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is probaly the all time best PC video game ever.Because every enviroment looks so realistic.Red Storm must of put a lot of work into Ghost Recon.I'm just crazy about Ghost Recon since I've let my friends see it they all want to buy it too.I just want to adopt the ghosts because of their stealth and ability.

With a stable of Rainbow Six etal and Rogue Spear etal you would have expected Restorm to raise the bar. Looks yea, Playability and realism NO. The friendly AI is generally useless and the specialist are locked up in an all too arcade like manor.

Multiplayer enviroment is great and worth the buy if thats your interest but they have seemed to have forgotten the single player.

Operation Flashpoint does the single player infantry sim much better (Though the vehicle sims stink)

After spending too much time with Counter-Strike, Ghost Recon was a nice change. Some have complained about the "good-guy" AI not being that great. It doesn't bother me. I'm more concerned about the enemy AI and if they're going to put up a good fight or not. If you want some serious realism and some tough single-player action, Ghost Recon delivers!

The game reviews were great and the hype was even better, but the fact is Ghost Recon left much to be expected. The graphics are a mix between Delta Force Land Warrior and the older version Rogue Spear. Most of the maps are channeled and is hard to maneuver through without getting bottle necked some where during the mission. The AI on Ghost Recon (GR), compared to Rogue Spear (RS)was greatly improved, and the multiplayer options were also improved. But the graphics were a disappointment. The user must have a 32 MB or higher video card in order to see the game at its best. I have a 64 MB Nvidia Gforce3 and experienced slowdown in the game at its higher settings. My caveat, the game is not for the digitally lame, but definatelly worth the money (...).

Downloaded the demo and played for the last two nights. The AI of the enemies are great. Very unpredictable, they'll even follow you up onto the walls of the castle. The graphics and movements of the soldiers are top quality. Gameplay is probably on a par with Delta Force Landwarrior which I also own and play online. Definately more Action based than the other Clancy games which require planning and setting of waypoints.

I'll just start off by saying, one of the best games ever made.

Graphics: they are the greatest, if you have a good grahics card. If the graphics aren't the best you've ever seen, you need a new card.

Sounds: Terrific. I've got a really nice speaker system and it really makes you feel like you're actually in Europe.

Gameplay: AI is really good. If you make a motion in front of them they'll pick it up immediately. The weapons selection is great. Everything from the typical M-16 to the new high-tech OICW (Objective Individual Combat Weapon). Very Good

In closing, I'd highly reccomend this game for kids 13 and up. For worried parents out there, the blood and gore can be turned off so its nothing more then a T (teen) rated game.

Ghost Recon is a wonderful game. Top quality graphics and great single player gamplay are wonderful features to have while playing this intense game. Ghost Recon also has a single player, well instructed range of different training courses. I also appreciate the arsenal. I think it is the best rainbow six game ever!!!

this is a very good good game =) i was soo surprised when it came out... i was waiting it almost for a half year and i was very excited so i tought that i was in deep water becuse i wasn't sure that ghost recon was that good that i was hoping fore... but what can i tell, it's the best!!

Overall a good game, though I would wait for the price to go down. Enemy AI is good. Friendly AI is not so good. Your guys never bother to follow your lead in taking cover behind walls, bushes, anything. They get shot because they move stupidly. Graphics and Sound are good but not amazing. The main thing that makes the game worth buying is the strategic gameplay. If you just run out and start shooting, you are already dead. You need to stick to cover and be patient for most missions, which makes the few where you really need to hustle that much more difficult. Even on recruit (easiest skill level) I had to play most of the maps at least twice to get through and possibly three or four times to get through with every one still alive. Good Luck.

Anyone who says this games stinks needs to take a bath cause they stink.buggy? nope fresh out of the box and its kicking and alive to. sure, has steep system requirements but its worth it who doesn't want to blow up a tank? or snipe and unsuspecting foe.

Multiplayer rock on solid and fun! who ever says this game is buggy as hell needs a new computer. the game gives you more plesure than any other game.
