THE BEST VIDEO GAME EVER, in my humble opinion. The GBA version is every bit as incredible as the SNES one was. Fun, challenging, engaging, this game draws you in - I could play for days and not get bored! If I could only have one game for my GBA this one would DEFINITELY be it!

This is the best Zelda game yet!

If you are a Zelda fan, then you should buy this game, it's great! This is the first Zelda game for GBA. This is better than Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. The music is really great. So are the graphics. In this game you are Link and you have to fight the evil wizard Aghanim who kidnapped Princess Zelda. But then you defeat him he transports you to the dark world, and you have to get the 7 crystals that hold the 7 maidens. This game is worth every penny.

Admittedly, lately-I've seen alot of SNES remakes for the Gameboy Advance. While that is good and all, it seems they aren't bringing back the ones that are worthy of seeing time on the handheld. Well, somebody must have got the right idea when this one was suggested. This classic is one of the best games of all-times. If you hadn't played it, you need to. It's a lengthy quest and definitely worth sinking your hard-earned money and time into. The graphics are colorful and crisp, and everything runs smoothly. An Awesome prelude to playing the new Wind Waker game for the Gamecube, that's for sure. I highly recommend it.

Great port of an old favorite

This port of the SNES game is great. They added a few new sprites and actions to the game such as being able to cut signs down and there are now special random stones that you can hit and money pops out. Don't buy this if you are expecting a totaly reworked game, its almost a direct port of the orginal. However, there is a new multiplayer option. The multiplayer mode is great fun. You can play up to four people at a time in a mad dash for rupies. I have enjoyed many hours playing the Four Swords multiplayer. If you have a group of friends that will all get this game, its totaly worth it.

I have been a fan of the Zelda series since it first came out on the NES. This game is basically the same as the SNES game, but it never gets old. It even includes an added game for you to link up with your friends, which I think is pretty neat as well. I have yet to try it though, finding four people I know with gba's is tough. :)

The game is great though, and the sound is excellent. It's a great way to pass the time and keep you entertained, definitely worth the buy.

This game is a very good game. My experience with it was emotional, for I played this game on SNES and it broke on me. But, this game has no flaws, perfect gameplay, spectacular graphics, and better effects. It compares with Sword of Mana for it's XP points, Final Fantasy Tactics for its graphical design, and Golden Sun for it's art and creation. The game is good because it doesn't cross the line at difficulty and it helps the player with common sense. It puts the player in Link's shoes. There is no flaws, it is all fabulous.

A Must Have For Any GBA

This is a classic must have adventure game for the GBA. The graphics are very clear, smooth game play, and plenty of puzzles to figure out.

If you want a game that you can play a few hours a day, over a few weeks, or months, it doesn't get better than this.

If you love any of the Zelda titles, you will surely love A Link to the Past for the GBA. I played solo, never the Four Swords, and had a ball!

What are you waiting on? Buy it now and enjoy!

Still great after so many years...

The developers at Nintendo are very good at porting classic games to their portable systems. If you've played the SNES version of A Link to the Past, then expect the same from the GBA version. Four Swords looks interesting, but I don't have four good friends with whom I can play, but the original game alone is worth the price. The one element that prevents me from giving the game a 5 out of 5 is the use of Link's Ocarina of Time yells when he swings a sword and falls down a hole. it detracts from the nostalgia a bit, but this seems to be a trend in SNES ports to GBA, as the same occurred in Super Mario Advance 2. Even so, the game is still worth your hard-earned cash based on solid gameplay and fun-factor.

I have some fond memories of this game.

It is great to be able to play this game on a portable, handheld system. I am a college student; usually, to pass the time between classes, I pull out my Nintendo DS Lite and play some classic Nintendo games; as of late, the most frequently played game that I own is this one. I have all four of the Super Mario Bros. Advance games and, trust me, I have given them their fair share of play. This game is a basic revamp of the old SNES version. In my opinion, it is equally good as the one that came out in the early nineties. I have some fond memories of that old game for the SNES; I remember back to 1998, when I completed it in less than forty-eight hours and thinking that I really accomplished something. I have noticed that some people have given some negative feedback to the new noises that Link makes; personally, I think that they are bearable; the more I play, the more that I get used to them. The additional multiplayer game, Four Swords, is great, too. I own that game for Nintendo Gamecube and I have played it a lot on that system, but not really on my Nintendo DS; personally, I think it is better on the Gamecube, but of course it is fun to be able to play it on a portable system. What more can I say? This game doesn't disappoint. It is a must have.
