I love Zelda games but this one was pubilshed for SNES, and GB. If you had GBs it would be useless!... Here are the ratings.

Graphics 6.3
Sound 9.6
Hard 10.0
Likeable 5.9

Thats really all.

anno 2004, this game is depressingly ugly to look at, so ugly that it hinders my gameplay experience. the ratings for THIS zelda are far too high and imo only based on nostalgia. I have played (u)moria for hundreds of hours, so i'm not the type that sees graphics as the most important aspect, but come on, zelda, no. link moves waaay too slow, the selection system is unintelligible. it may be that is was among the first rpg's but that does not mean it is one of the best! The story may be great but playability is too low to grab me at once (in contrast to phantasy star, which is really far better and about the same age).

my advice : borrow it, and if you have no friends with gba, rent it. do not fool yourself and pay >$5 for it.

this game rocks

It's not anything new, just another game that was remade for the GBA. Well the game play is fairly good, the story line is one of the best out there. Get this game if you are above the age of 10 if not don't get it, if you do you'll be really bored.

Remake of the best Zelda ever.

Zelda has always been a criticaly acclaimed series, and is arguably Nintendo's best work. This installment, A Link to the Past, features the same SNES classic that took America by storm back in 1991. While the gameplay is vintage and classic, the graphics are dated to some extent. Luckily there's Four Swords, a multiplayer only game which is new and exclusive to the GBA. The only drawback is, unlike most of Nintendo's GBA games, each player will need a copy of the game to play. This means it may be hard to find someone to play with and therefore makes the extra game useless. Overall, if you liked A Link to the Past when it was on SNES, or are looking for a new excuse to play your GBA, get this game. It's worth your time and money.

What can I say? ZELDA=Good

The origional LOZ was and still is my favorite game of all time. It kind of lost me when the side-scrolling ZELDA II came out, though. Because of that, I have avoided Nintendo at all costs since then.

Recently, though, the GBA SP came out, with a LIGHT! I had seen previews for this game, appearing to be much like the origional ZELDA. So I got it as my first game and...it is! I have never been so happy! My nephew has a multi-tap, and will probably buy this game also, so I'll have to wait untill then to play "Four Swords"; but no matter how much that game rocks/sucks, the pack is still worth 5 stars.

This is probably the best gba game ever. I bought it about a week ago and I've been playing it ever since. ((-:
I love it. I've never played it on SNES and I'm glad. It might get boring then. Graphics sweet, awesome sounds, good control,
cool weapons and equipment. All I can say is WOW!!!
A must buy for all Zelda and adventure game fans. Trust me.((-:

PERFECT!
