The music is great, the colors are vibrant, the game play is right on... this is a classic Nintendo game ported perfectly to the GBA. If you have a GBA you need to get this game.

I never played the origional lttp,(Link to the Past) but this game gives me a taste of early 90's gaming. The dungeons in this game can get extremely fustrating, and you might need a walkthrough many times, but it is a must-have nonetheless. The game also includes Four Swords, the first ever multiplayer game in the hit series. They are both great games, and I assure you that you will not be dissapointed when playing this game.

Got this for my 6 year old grandson, since he was always taking his older brother's gameboy. Got him a Gameboy from Amazon (used) also, so he was all set to go and the big brother did not have to worry about his "stuff". Now they are both happy and can switch games when they want.

A great classic game plus a multi-player Zelda in addition. Who can turn up their nose to that?

(Note:This is a review only on A Link to the Past)I got this game a long time ago.I had recently completed Link's Awakening and wanted more.Let me tell you I got more than I ever wanted. The story centers on Link who is woken up one night by a telepathic plea for help from Princess Zelda. He steps out of his home and begins a quest that will lead him through dark dungeons, high mountains, and a corrupt Dark World. He will also find hidden treasures, and face the personifacation of evil Ganon. The graphics are great (especially since the game was released in 1992)And the weapons are cool. The score is beautiful and the monsters are tough to beat(especially the two headed dragon in the next to final boss.)It has it's flaws such as too little story and too few sidequests.Overall the entire game is awesome, easily surpassing The Wind Waker and equalling the Ocarina of Time.

I bought the game as a gift for my boyfriend, who is currently stationed overseas. He really enjoys playing it. The good thing is that it's not so difficult that you need a walkthrough, but not so easy that you get through it too fast.
Cool

I didn't know I would love Legend of Zelda since I am a tetris/mario/phoenix wright kind-of-girl. Anyway I start to fall in love with Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past as the game grows on me (with some help from the game guide). Cannot wait for Legend of Zelda: the Phantom Hourglass to come home (I pre-ordered it already!)
A wonderful classic

While the original Zelda was great, this was the best of the line. Beautiful graphics for the time, very fun to play, challenging, funny. It is great fun to be able to play it again, and it is still quite entertaining.
Surprisingly fun

Some parts of the game are surprisingly tricky and oftentimes frustrating. I needed online help since I'm usually lousy at finding things. However, it's still a fun game that I had trouble putting down. There were many opportunities to interact with the environment, which increased as I found more tools. I picked up rocks, cut down signs, ran into trees to release their contents, dug holes in the ground to look for treasure, I pulled levers and dragged statues, and I even made myself invisible. My biggest annoyance was falling down holes since I'm quite clumsy.
