VERY good game

This is such a good game. I've only played it for the SNES, but it's still the same thing. It's very difficult, especially the Aganihm dungeon at the end! If you're good at this, it will probably still take you a long time to beat. Great music, great bosses, great items, and this is probably the best adventure game ever made in my opinion. (The first time I played it it took me about four months to beat it!)
Graphics- good for it's time.
difficulty- a lot, but it adds to the fun.
fun- off the scale!

This is the best Zelda Game Ever!

I love all Zelda games, but this is by far the best. I've bought every Zelda game that's came out! In the previous GBA games I thought it would be beyond awesome if you could link up and see the other guy on your screen. I can't believe it finally happened

Awesome Game!

A Link To The Past is a great game, it's pretty good graphics, and good controls (Though you can't jump.... I hate that.... I love jumping....) The sounds aren't so great, in fact, it's pretty annoying with the sound on so I always turn it off... The battles are pretty cool, yet very fast/easy, the start of the game is slightly boring, but it gets better..... MUCH better.... I haven't play Four Swords yet, but I'm sure it's awesome (Woohoo you get to throw each other!) If you want to play some VERY similar (with the same graphics and people) go to www.cyberjoueur.com (The game is called Grael) Very well then, have fun playing! Do buy this game, please

Great title!

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past plays a lot like the original Legend of Zelda (bad guys included) only with a different plot and main character. You have to save the last of a royal bloodline in order to restore peace to Hyrule and strengthen the protective seal that keeps Gannon at bay. In the meantime you can gamble, fight needlessly, get mugged and dabble in sorcery to kill time. You not only fight monsters and forage for weapons, trinkets and gems but you compete with each other for status and medals. If you have friends with a GBA SP you can play `Four Swords', a multiplayer add-on which, if I had more than one friend, would have been awesome. I would totally recommend this game for Four Swords alone, although A Link to the Past is definitely a bonus.

My favorite Zelda!

I am a big fan of the Legend of Zelda games, and this is one that I come back to playing over and over. I have it on my PC and I have replayed it many times, and when I found out it was available for Game Boy, having just purchased a DS, I bought it.

a classic on the go

I really enjoyed this game back when it first released on the SNES. I'm glad that I can finally play it again with the benefit of taking it where ever I go. The only problem is that unless you know someone else who has the game for the gameboy too, you'll never be able to play the Four Swords. I would recommend this game to others who love rpgs and zelda. Just so you can hook up with them and play the multiplayer. :)

Perfect port of an all time classic

One of the best games ever made for Nintendo's Super NES was undoubtedly the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and it's perfect port to the GBA was not only faithful to the original, but even improved on the classic game in some aspects as well. Playing as stalwart hero Link, you are on a mission to once again save Princess Zelda from certain doom as you progress through Hyrule and traverse dungeons, solving puzzles and collecting items in your quest. A Link to the Past featured many revolutionary elements back when first released for the Super NES, including the ability to travel back and forth between a "light" and "dark" world as you progress through the game, and it's dungeons still remain some of the best to ever appear in any RPG ever crafted. The game's graphics are plenty colorful and look fantastic on the GBA's screen, and the ultra catchy music score and overall epic feel of the game is still second to none. The additional feature, entitled the Four Swords, is a multiplayer (via link cable) blast that is an excellent little bonus in itself as well. There are some minor tweaks in the game as well, including some digitized speech and sound effect elements and a few graphical and gameplay upgrades as well. Do yourself a favor: if for some reason you missed out on the original Super NES classic and own a GBA, or even a DS, you have to add Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past to your library. It's simply a perfect port of an all time classic that remains one of the best GBA games ever crafted, as well as one of the best games of it's type as well.

Cleaned up a bit from the SNES version

A good game on SNES, and I'm glad to have it in portable version.

Nothing beats the classic game for nostalgic impact. I remeber playing the game as a little girl and its just as much fun now. I would highly recommend the new Zelda game the Minnish Cap for everyone. It occupies my time out here fairly nicely.

i love this game!!!
