Definitely the next GTA

mmmmkay. i have to say, this game is amazing. i loooooooove it. i saw it first here on amazon and it looked good so i went and bought it. as soon as i saw the opening, i knew it would be great. i think there are a few downsides though. first is that sometimes the game can be really cheap, like there is one mission in a ruskie spa and u basically have to get in unnoticed. its good up to a point, but when u get spotted by an enemy you can't find its not fair. the other shortcoming is in the company. activision tried to make true crime too much like GTA. it even threw in the witty remarks and "dirt". probly some of the best parts of this game are the HUUUUUUUGE map (encompassing all of L.A.), the street crimes, the following good cop, bad cop system, and last but not least, cruising mode. in between levels, there is a bonus cruising level and sometimes it can even come with a level in the game. cruising mode is basically where you can drive around L.A. stopping at different places where you can obtain new moves (dojo) or where you can work on your shooting (shooting range). this game is awesome. its definitely the next GTA.

I played a demo of this game thinking it was going to be like GTA, was I mistaken. The first thing I noticed was how annoying Nick is. The graphics are also very dissapointing. I finally got to one of the fights thinking finally, but it feels like your not even controlling your character. The driving is also very clunky. This is one of the worst games on the PS2 system. If you want a game kind of like GTA go with the Getaway, or Driv3r. Stay as far away from this game as you can.

this game blows gta driver halo 2 hell shrek game is better then this lol i say dont even rent it the only thang good about this game is the soundtrack which could have been better it the worst game to ever hit the shelves the gameplay sucks the storylice sucks and im so fed of those few people who say this is better then gta they are a BIG jackass and once again the only good thing on it is the music and if u dont like rap but you think this game looks cool you better turn the music OFF!!!!! man i just cant stand this game this shiet the only other good thing about this game is that you can be snoop dogg but anyways this game sucks(...).

True Crime Streets of L.A. is fun , action packed, lets get to the problem.For the first thing,there is a radio in the car like in gta3,and gta:vc,I have never heard the"f-word" in a game,except this one!!When it said strong language, I never imagined......So if your parents are sticklers with language(like mine)you have the choice to turn yhe music down in options.The controls are not like the GTA series though.The game is fun but watch the language.Im 12 and im appauled by it.If not for the language the game would get a 4.8.I didnt think activision was capable,but oh well.Note:just keep the MUSIC VOLUME down.Thats how I convinced my parents.

Wooooo this game is the bomb.My b-day was on oct.27 and i pre-ordered it and that vidoe was dumb.But when i got the game it was the most bestes game a eva played!!!!!!I say this game is the best its the best and plus you can play as snoop wooo yea..!!"THIS GAME IS MY BOMSTICK!!!"

this game is more of a step down from vice city than it is a step up.the controls are better but the environment is the same.

This game rocks!! I love it!! It's graphics are not that great, but it's fun, the story is a little off, but it doesn't matter the game makes up for it in the missions!! YOU MUST BUY IT!!

This game is one that you can have completed in a short amount of time, and thereofre can become samish. Although this is the case i quite liked it and allways play it myself, a much liked game, you need to be a good virtual driver though hehe. Overall v.good and lots of fun!!
