fun....until......

The graphics are well-designed, lovely interiors at Hogwarts, and it's fun to interact with all the characters from the story. The problem-solving is at an easy level, but enjoyable because of the ambience. However, I never finished this game: my screen went black after the troll chase. Computer didn't freeze, it just refused to go any further. E-mail after e-mail with EA has not solved the problem: my computer is correctly configured, enough memory, etc; I think the disk is bad and they don't. Starting again just dead-ends at the same place. Others who have played the game have not had this problem, so beware. I'm going to have to visit someone who has it to be able to finish it!

I really wanted to write a review on this game because it is so much fun! I'm a 42 year old mom and my son got this game for Christmas. I'm not much of one for him to sit around playing computer games (we don't even have a Playstation - shocking!), but this game is challenging and just a whole lot of fun. I'd never really tried to play any of his computer games before, but I must admit, when he's away, I have snuck on the computer and checked this one out. Such a good incentive to read the books, too, which he loves. I read a negative review on here that said that this game was TOO challenging; it is indeed challenging, but there is so much fun packed into it, so much room to explore and be creative and use your imagination, the challenge never becomes frustrating. Just had to say it; fantastic fun!

this game is SOOOOO fun.. but SOOO easy and short.. i beat this game in 2 days... dont get me wrong... this game is fun. but it gives only 4 hours of gameplay (no strategy guides) the game gta3, gives about 100 hours of gameplay. thats the difference. Every level is wicked easy accept for the one where u sneak down from the tower, and the last level where u fight that ugly person. again, i say u should rent this game, (for ps or ps2), blockbuster gives u a week of rental with ur.... GAMEs FREEDOM PASS!!...rent this game for a week, and beat it in a day.

This game you have to buy. The best part of the game is playing Quiddich. It has awesome graphics. I'm stuck in the invisible cloak part, but the rest of the game was sweet!

For the most part I agree with the other reviews, though one of my irratations with the "challenges" such as, with the troll thing, why on earth are there giant creveses in the floor? And for some reason the have it positioned so that you are facing your charactor and you can't see where in God's name you're going and you fall through tiny 2 foot wide holes in the floor. And you stat out where it's fun and then after you faint or whatever a couple of times it starts to junt... you off!

One. Do not buy this game in a store. Buy it online. I paid (more money) for it in a store. Second. So far the game is fun but now I am stuck in the forest part. But I think once I get past that it will continue to be fun.

Speaking as a fan of Harry Potter, this game is tremendous fun! The graphics are well done, and the level of immersiveness is great. As an experienced gamer, the game is pretty easy, but that's okay with me. It's lots of fun to play this game! The controls are a little frustrating, and surprisingly, you do not have as much control over this as you might think (the game is based on the Unreal graphics/game engine, which provides extensive control customization already - why take it away???).

This game is the worst game in the world. First graphics are no better than gameboy, second, there is almost no gameplay 2 levles there are so easy, i didnt know anything about harry potter and i beat the game in 30 minutes. I wouldnt pay a penny for this game. Dont throw your money down the toilet. Dont buy this game.

Are you a Harry Potter fan? If so this is the game for you! It is adventurous just like the movie and book! It has classes, quidditch, common rooms, and all the problems all the charectars experienced in the movie and book! Let's just hope your good with a broomstick!!! LOL! :)
