I bought this game for our library and it only works on a pretty up to date machine we found out. I have been playing it on my office machine since December. I got through the game with a hint or two from my step grandson but could not find all the cards. So I kept playing it over and over and over again. I played it so often I caught Malfoy right away and the Snitch too. I am not a gamer but it was great fun to find all the Wizard cards. The one I couldn't find was Herpo the Foul. Hope someone else had trouble with it. If you like Harry Potter and you like games that can go fast or slow this is great.

The Harry Potter PC game is a very fun and challenging game. The graphics are OK for PC games. Sometimes you can see whats in a secret passgeway or Harry dissappers. In Quidditch the Snicth somtimes dissappers too. The people don't move there mouths either and they move there hands when they aren't talking. Everything but the things above are awesome! The challenges are quite, well, challenging. I reccomend that you have read the book and/or seen the movie. I also reccomend you are 8 years old or older.

This game is the best. I got it for Christmas 2001 and have been playing it ever since. I am always finding new Wizard cards, Bertie Botts and secret passages. The only problem is that Voldemort needs to be harder, because I can beat him without getting hit( and I am not very good). For good graphic and adventure seekers, I reccomend this game

The sound is enjoyable for most kids. If your a good gamer you might want to get a more difficult game, most of the gameplay is slower than most action games. It is a perfect game for kids 7-11. You can learn spells, collect magic items and explore hogwarts. You play third person( you can see harry potters body) most of the game. Overal it is a very good game.

...It's awesome, but quite a challenge. I mastered the Quidditch part quite quickly, much to my surprise. I had watched my friend and it took her ages to get past it. I managed to finish the game (I was practically living with my friend) fairly quickly and then played it again! Definitely buy this, even if you're not a Harry Potter fan, because it rocks!...

My whole family LOVES this game. It is interesting and enjoyable. Some parts are more challenging (flying) than others and there's lots of places to explore. I'm still finding new things and I've played it many times!

I really thought the game was fun but Harry's movements were confusing and I couldn't defeat Quirell for two years. Two years!!! The third game was out by then!
The books and the movie were great so the game is excellent!

I am a fan of all Harry Potter things, so basically I will buy this game. From what I've read from other reviews and information from this game you will basically be a "wizard/witch in training". This game is for all kids who want to be Harry Potter!
In conclusion this game is the best thing from the Harry Potter merchandise (beside the books) you can buy!

I have read all the Harry Potter Books (several times), I am longing for the movie and I can't wait for the game! We get to go to Hogwarts and do things Harry did. This is a winner for me even if it doesn't turn out to be the best game, because it'll have brought Hogwarts to life.

When I first saw this I was like "WOW!!" I mean at first it was the books and then the movie and then the games and now a CD Rom game!I have read all four books a million times I know almost everything about Harry Potter and I am hopeing to be the first in line at our movie theater to watch the movie!I can't help it I am a Harry fanatic!
