This game is a very good game but very hard to play and takes up 400 mb on your computer also is very slow. If you want a better game but still almost the same theme for a cheaper price just buy age of empiers 2 and it expantion pack. It is a lot better than this game.

INCREDIBLE!

I can't believe how this game just kept me sitting on the computer for hours on end. It's the true successor to Age of Empires, but even better. Spanning through 500,000 years, and into the future, it is the most spectactular work of computer gaming art that I have ever seen. Hail Rick Goodman (again!)!

empire earth is tight

to start off any of u who thinks this game deserves to (ecxplict lyric) my (expilict lyric)and then (explict lyric). The Campaign is decent but if u just want some old fasioned plottles war.. this is the game. The campaign has only four choices and that kinds sucks. But the skirmish battles are excellent
if u want war strategy get this
if u want plott and campaign get Red Alert Two

The best game I have ever played!

This is a horrible game of the year. The graphics are good but the units, and chalenges are bad, and I will explain right now, why.
1. The Musketeer suppose to have a sword not a gun.
2. Priests are being converted easily. Infact, if you have one and computer have three, he will take away not only your priest but a whole army too. That means that the army that have been conquered by your opponent will defeat you. Even if you will be creating and upgrading your troops, computer will win in any case.
3. B-52's and Titan bombers attacking viciouslly. They can destroy with 1 atomic bomb 3 buildings and kill more then 15 troops.
I lost a game to Germany when I was playing Atomic Age-
-WW2, atleast 3 B-52's attack me and I lost. The attack continued for about 1 min. I had atleast 10 buildings before the attack, now I have 0, this is outrageous!
4. Priests can't convert buildings before Imperial Age. Thats like for 8 levels without power to convert. In AOE I began to convert buildings in 3rd level, but what they have here is outrageous!
5. Priests can't convert ships from Middle Age- Industrial Age. Even if I have 3 priests I can't convert even Frigate-Royal (Industrial Age).
In AOE I have converted all ships (exept for demolition).
6. The computer likes to cheat.
Let I tell you what I mean by that, example: when you are playing Imperial Age-Industrial Age you have a barracks unit called the sharpshooter, while your guy have 535 hit points your opponent with the same guy will have 575 hit points.
Infact your Sharpshooter can kill the guy with two shots, while your opponents Sharpshooter can fire only one shot, plus the opponents Sharpshooter can take away 400 hit points, while yours can take away only half of it.
7. When you creating hero, he will not do aNY damage to your oponent. Why then Sierra created such kind of a dull machine?!
8. Carriers carying from 10-12-14 units, while in AOE from 5-10-20.
Thats it for today, I hope that many people will understand that they are waisting money on this game. I paid for this game $....and I don't recieved any fun from it, only disappointment.
I sugest to all customers buy games like Age of Empires,
Starcraft, and Red Alert 2.

Great Game! Absolutely Stunning!

Don't get me wrong this is a great game. Just a few weeks before it came out I was thinking about writing microsoft and telling them they should try a version of Age of Empires set in the modern and even future would. The only problems with this game are that one, it takes a really fast computer to play it how it was meant(my computer reaches the minimum requirements and it is exstreemely choppy playing only a 150 unit two player game on the lowest detail setting)two, you don't have a list or paper to tell you what each unit is good at killing. three, priest are to easy to kill(in age of empires you could convert a teutonic knight and sometime a crossbowman before he kill you, but in empire earth they are killed by only one shot from a tank on marine). four, snipers dissappear(they made it were the only way to kill a sniper is two send out 50 men and search for him while he picks you men off one by one, the only way to find him without losing any men is to send a tank after him.)And my very last complaints are that there are no mines(to blow up infantry or tanks.) and atomic bommers are to cheap.
other than this, this is an awsome game.
ohhhh yeah,,, the game needs to make it were researching things gives you more builds or more men to build(such as in ages of empires were you research chemistry and get the bombard tower, cannon gallean, canoneer, and the bombard canon.

Fantastic; from stone age to the future - I was floored!

This is a wonderful game, beginning with cave men and ending up with robots - this game is breathtaking. I was in awe upon loading it and each time I get into a new epoch I feel that awe renewed. The fact that it all fits on one CD blows me away. It is one of those games that you could play for over three days straight so beware. This would also greatly complement a Western Civ course or add spice to any history lesson.

The graphics are also delightful: fields of wheat, beautiful oceans and trees swaying in the wind. Also you can zoom in and
get a first person perspective and then zoom back out!

There are plenty of great campaigns and some nice complementary materials like a poster/time line and helpful history refreshers in the manual.

A text book based on this game would be a great teaching tool!
