Red Alert2 is and awesome game!It combines a good storyline with awesome multiplayer mode for tons o' fun!Although right now this game isn't the best(because Yuri's Revenge is coming out) the price has dropped and it's still as good as always.

an OK game

Well if you like any command and conquer you'll like this. Because its the same as all the other ones. Good graphics and easy game play so if you just come on to command and conquer it fun but they really are all the same. I enjoyed this above all other westwood games and the realisticness is scary. For example when you play an allied campaign in colorado you find the air force acadamy chaple and it really looks like it. You find many other land marks as well. One flaw is that a small unit is two storys high when its next to a building. Well I guess that is realy it. The game is sort of shallow and like I said(I can't stress this enough) it really is the same as all the other westwood games so I just if your new with them, get this, but if you played some other westwood games it isn't worth it.

IT'S RED ALERT....again...

This game must be the worst of the Command & Conquer series. The story are so bad, you just want to put it away. Why did the allies want soviet to be their ally if they have no permission to build tanks??? Who is this Yuri-guy? The year is about 1950, I mean, comon! Mind-control? Wheater machines? Kane are not in this game, Nod and GDI have no connection to RA2. How can people love this game, it's almost an exactly copy of Tiberian Sun (wich were good, despite the graphics). Personally, I think WestWood (WW) should finish Tiberian Twilight (sequel to TibSun). The GDI-NOD conflict are mutch better and the units are more time-made. The story are also better (who Kane is? where did tiberium come from etc...). Now WW are almost finished with Yuri's Revenge, witch also will be dissapointing. I think Renegade should be playable, but you can only hope.

This Game Rocks!

(Note: This is Writer50's son)

Red Alert 2 features a new storyline (not pertaining to the old one), new units, new graphics, new sounds, and more depth, all of which are pretty good! Some of the old units have new features which add depth to the game. Like a Chrono Miner and the engineers ability to fix bridgers. The graphics are great for a game of this kind and if you know how to, you can edit the game in nearly every way. If you like war-strategy games or you liked Red Alert- Get This!

Some people (like those other than me that wrote a review for this game) don't know what their talking about!
1. For those you complained about the story, they use the word DECEPTION, it isn't cheesy! It could happen!
2. People complaining about new weapons and the year: It's kind of hard to tell what year it takes place in, but the new units used in the game could be developed in the future!
3. Yuri is added to the game as the Second in Command for Russia, is that hard to understand? In the next game, Yuri wants to take over the world :)

I have played and beat both the Soviet missions and Allied an this game rocks!! I can't wait till Yuri's Revenge come's out. The missions are sometimes hard but once you get started winning you can't stop. It has very clear and very life like video brefiefings for all missions.

Red Alert has always paved the way for technology (on the game engine side), with the original Red Alert making the leap into SVGA. Red Alert 2 features a truely enhanced 2D engine with huge structures.

You finally get to fight on US soil (none of the previous C&C engines could have done this justice like the Red Alert 2 engine does). Gameplay is more back to basic, User Interface has been revamped for the first time in the series.

This doesn't feel like a sequel. If you've ever enjoyed C&C, buy this now.
