The best star wars game yet...

Over all the best star wars game yet,however the only way I can prove that to you without you actually playing it is contrasting{comparing} the good things and the bad things about the game,first the bad.1.The controls are a bit difficult to learn at first,but after a little bit of playing you'll have them down just fine. 2.When running with your jedi,you cannot leap into the air and bring your light saber down to damage the enemy,you have to wait till you are on the ground.3.This games plot is the very same plot as the movie and as movie,which would be alright except they already made a game with the plot of the movie,the phantom menace.Now the good, 1.The graphics are good in comparison to all of the other star wars games.2.You get to choose from five different jedi.3.there are four secret levels and three hidden characters including the queen,captain panaka,and our very own dearly departed sith,darth maul.4.Each jedi has his/her own moves,combos,and special items.5.Each jedi is completly different,some have speed and quickness while others have strenth and dexterity,some are stronger in the force than they are at fighting.6.Each jedi has three special force moves which can be deployed throughout the game.7.As you progress through the game you can earn combos and force powers that were not available to you in the previous level.well that's about it.But heres some more info anyway,there are ten levels{not counting the four bonus levels}of fast and furius action,after the fourth level you have to step it up a notch but you'll be fine,and as a last piece of info,at the last level you have a little "chat" with darth maul about his attempts to terminate you on tattoine.

I just got this game and I think it is great. I think the 2 player mode is awsome. Why wouldn't you like to go chop down some droids with a freind? I think it is really cool how you can pick your own charachter. If your a Star Wars fan then you will love this game

You have got to play this game.It has to be the best game onplaystation now.If you liked the movie you'll love this game.Thegraphics are incredible and the game play is easy to catch on to.There are a ton of moves you can do like you can run towards the battle droids and stab them with your lightsaber.You can also spin around and cut them and deflect there laser blasts back at them.So all you Star Wars fans out there,and even if you don't really like Star Wars,you have got to try this game....

This is by far the best Star Wars game on the market at the present time. I love this game so much. It allows you to be what most kids wanted to be... a Jedi. When you beat the game as Mace Windu and then beat the endurance round then the game gets really fun, because you have the ultimate saber.

This game is so realistic to the movie. I love it and will recommend it to anyone who asks about it. It shows three jedi that haven't been shown fighting. Plo Koon, Ali Gaddia, and Mace Windu are in the game and none have been shown fighting in the movie, so this is a great introduction to them.

The Force is with this game!

First off, Jedi Power Battles is a tremendously fun game in one player mode and is off the charts with two players. The game provides ample difficulty even on the lowest setting. It is difficult but not impossible and improvement can be witnessed immediately. A must have for any Star Wars fight game fan. P.S.-Any game with Samuel L. Jackson(Mace Windu) has to be top notch.

if you have ever wondered what it would be like to play a starwars game on the playstation..., then you have got to play j.p.b.this game really lets you feel what it would be like to be a jedi knight. this game can get a little frustrating at times, but the gameplay of this game is well worth the effort. this game rocks and is well worth a look. END

I have to admit this game really got me mad for the first couple of weeks. But as I kept playing and learning the combos It got easier. The best way I think to get the right experience is to beat the game first with Mace Windu. He has a wide variety of moves that are very effective. That will unlock the "Survival" level. You get stuck in one room with one set of power-ups and 100 enemies drop in (2-3 at a time) to take a shot at you. They start with the non-shooting battle droids and cycle through all of the bad guys(minus Darth Maul) If you can beat all 100 you will unlock the true lightsaber which will take out everything in one blow! Once you unlock it you can switch it on and off too. I highly recommend this game to true Star Wars lovers who have wanted to feel the force! This game rocks!

I feel that this is truely one of THE best Star Wars games out. The Lightsaber combo moves are awesome. And it follows the storyline. The music and sound fx puts you in the mood for trashing some droids.

On the back of the case the games motto says: deflect. defeat. destroy. Well...uh...you kinda get that "destroy" feeling when you fire a laser back to who shot it. This game is incredibly fast paced- a definite rent more than once or buy for fans who enjoy fighting games. The controls aren't the greatest, like jumping on really thin hunks of land, but it only takes 10 minutes to master the controls of your character's inner Jedi lightsabering skills. A couple great additions to this game is deflecting lasers or bullets, and the 2 player mode. Teach you're friends how to play and use the Obi-Won Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn duo. You can also do pretty cool combos to chop you're enemies into bite-size pieces. Overall this game is a must, and I reccommend it to anyone.

Jedi Power Battles is the best star wars game I,ve played on Ps1 and beats the inferior Phantom Menace!!

Like most games it takes a bit of time to get used to the controls and can be frustrating when first playing it. But once you master the jumps and moves it becomes very enjoyable!!

The levels are very inventive and well thought out. After each level you get special combo moves, but it is optional wether you want to use them. The handling of the characters is good and the range of moves is also good. The people who are critizing it probably have not learnt to play it!!!

The graphics look a bit dated compared to the newer stuff,but it is a must for a starwars fan!!
The only critisim is the Plo Kloon character is too slow and is impossible to beat DarthMaul on level 10!! I have been playing this game on and off for a year and would recommend it!!!!!!!
