I rented this game and got bored with it in minutes. However, it came with a demo of MGS2 which I think is awesome.

I've been waiting for a game with a bit more that the average PS2 games that are out there now. This game delivers on many levels. Just the fact that it comes with a PLAYABLE MGS2 is reason enough to own this. I own VO-OT for dreamcast and I personally this is way better. Not just a robot fighting game like VOOT.

I wasn't a mech-shooter genre fan until I bought this game. It's amazing, the graphics are beautiful and the sound equally matches the graphics. It has a great story and it has to be the best game to date graphic wise, better than the Bouncer even.

However, the game does not come without bad points. First, the sounds, except for explosions, are really bad, and it's voice acting only gets worse the more you hear it. The game is great for the first few hours, but redundant enemies, objectives, and landscapes eventually wear on you to the point that the measly five to seven hours it takes to complete the game seems too long.

This is a great game, and you should get it too, even if you are not a mech game genre fan, this may have what it takes to turn you around.

I bought this because of the 5 star rating...

What a waste of money..

Graphics are pretty good but not top notch..

Okay I know you've come here and read all these glowing reviews. But Zoe doesn't live up to the hype. The graphics are good but the scenery is plane. The game is repetitive, not in a goodway. There is hardly any variation in enemy's and missions and in the end you'll find it better to have rented then buy. yes Metal Gear Solid is packaged with it and is amazing. It only demonstrates what a good game is and what Zoe of enders is not. Either way I would rent it first. If you like it then buy it.

THIS GAME IS TOTALLY AWESOME I LOVE THE GRAPHICS AND THE CONTROLLS BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE PROBLEM WITH IT IT'S KIND OF ON THE SHORT SIDE. IF YOU ASK ME THIS GAME WOULD BE #1 IF IT WAS LONGER. Introduction

Z.O.E.: "Zone of the Enders" is the latest game being developed by Konami of Japan. Tokyo Game Show in Japan was the showcase where Hideo Kojima introduced gamers to the game Z.O.E.. A Zelda-type action-adventure game, set in the future, where you can talk to people in cities, and action where you play as "Leo" who pilots the Mech Orbital Frame (the main character) and battle the Z.O.E..

Story

It's our solar system in the 22nd Century. The human race has expanded its space colonization from the orbits of the moon and the surface of Mars to as far as Jupiter to acquire natural resources and minerals from the mysterious planet. On the planet's surface is the mining colony Antilia - a critical operation for the Earth's government as Antilia mines precious resources found only on Jupiter.

One day a 14-year-old Leo Stenbuck and his bully companions are caught stealing items from one of Antilia's storehouses. As he's being held prisoner, Z.O.E., a Martian militia group, starts attacking the Antilia colony. Leo is the only survivor of the attack. Filled with remorse and rage at the tragic scene, he runs away and ends up at the controls of the Orbital Frame Jehuty - a giant war machine. With no other choice available to him, Leo takes the helm of the Jehuty to battle against the Z.O.E. forces.

Game

The game itself is base around the theme life and death. Leo the main character having no will to live. His rival and friend Viola supports Leo in his endures, in hopes of finding the best place for Leo to die. The heroin of the game is is a young girl named Celvice who hopes in giving Leo a reason to live.

Staff

Such talent as as Hideo Kojima (creator of the Metal Gear series) as producer, Noriaki Okamura (Tokimeki Memorial series) as director, Yoji Shinkawa (character and Mecca design in Metal Gear Solid) on mech design, and Nobuyoshi Nishimura (Gundam X) on character design are making the game.

Z.O.E OK MGS2 GREAT!

I fell into the trap of buying Z.O.E just for the MGS2 demo and I am glad I did. I have not played Z.O.E yet but I have played MGS2 and what I have seen I really like.

We all knew that this was going to be the end all be all of games and it is! Being a die hard MGS fan I was praying that the second installment to this game would not suck and I was greatly surprised on every aspect of the game. MGS2 is the reason why I purchased PS2.

I do no want to talk about the details in case I leave anything out but what I will say is that MGS2 lives up to all the hype. You can finish pretty quickly but take the time to see all that this game has to offer and there is a lot that this game has to offer.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! I think that says it all but I will have to say it again, GREAT game, I cannot wait for the full version.
