I have this game and beat it in one day and it has a short storyline even though itsa good game.

OK, if your new to the the mech type games i don't know if you'd like this, but if you are a big fan of anime and shows like Gundam Wing this is definately for you. Zone of the Enders has wonderful control during the battles, and pretty decent controls when you're just cruising around. Like I said if you like shows like Gundam Wing here's where it gets a little exciting if you toggle the stick a little during battle you can fly all around the enemy get behind them and BLOW THEM AWAY! All in all I guess you can say my 5 Star rating pretty much speaks for itself. So if you like anime/mech games Zone of the Enders is the one to own!

I loved this game while I was playing it, but the sad thing for me was that It only had taken me one two nigth game rental to beat it.But besides that I loved the game.After playing it I got to thinking that GUNDAM games should be like Z.O.E . (the only bad thing about this game is that the japeness verison came with a 30 M. long anime OVA on DVD witch was the start of the new Z.O.E anime seris there.)But I loved the story of the game , the ending set a Z.O.E 2.

Who could resist a game that combines great anime style fighting machines with beutiful overall 3d gameplay? This could be one of the best titles to hit the PS2 so far. and done by the creator of the metal gear seris any serious gamer should know to buy this game!!! the weapons and controls are easily mastered which makes the game even more of a great overall experiance. The only thing that was less than amazing was the character design (you know, inside the mech.) the main character is a small boy and is later accompanied by his friend. this often becomes annoying during story sequences. the enemy chracter, however, was very well done and fits perfectly into the anime style game. If you like action, than grab this game as soon as you can

A must-have for all who owns a PS2!!

ZOE (Zone of the Enders) is definitely one of the best ps2 game to date. the graphic are simply mind-blowing, but a little variety in the setting would have made it even more 'eye candy'. ZOE gets pretty compelling for the first few hours or so w/ its flawless control and rock-on camera angles! but then it gets pretty repetitive because u only need one attack to defeat enemy. Other than that, it has some neat extra after u beat the game such as VS mode which is sure to boost up the replay value (and did i mention multiple ending as well?) ! The music simply rocks. Awesome techno-rock music sets the "Pacing" and "Adrenaline-pumping" action for the game. well wat can i say? my hat's definitely off to Hideo kojima, one of the greatest game director ever on earth for producing Metal Gear solid and ZOE. This is a must-have for any PS2 owners and i promise, u wont regret buying this game!

This game is great. It has outstanding graphics and easy-to-use controls. It may not be the longest game in the world (I beat normal mode in 3 hours) but after you beat it a versus mode is unlocked which gives it high replay. If you just want a good challenge, start a game on very hard or play versus against a high level PC while you are on a low level. This game combines mech combat, a tiny bit of puzzle solving, and RPG elements making this game very active and fun. The music is somewhat hypnotizing and never gets repetetive. I would definately reccommend this game to mech combat fans as well as newcomers to the genre.
PS- Don't buy this for the metal gear demo. The demo may be good, but remember that it is only a demo worth maybe 5-10$

This game is the defitntion of perfection. The graphics are unbelivable and the sound is great. The storyline is great, too. In short, the Metal Gear Solid 2 Demo is worth ... .

Oh yeah, there is some game called "Zone Of The Enders", too. It's kinda good.

This game is all about the story and the animation. The gameplay is basic enough and it's basically the same throughout the entire game. The drawing point is the story and characters and the wonderful cut scene animations that are amazing. The gameplay is fun, I've always wanted to pilot a mech like this, but for me once I saw that first cut scene I was hooked. If you like the anime style, this game is for you.

This game is so highly underrated. A lot of people bought the game because of the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo disc. But those like me who actually played the game found a gem! If you like an arcade type shooter/hack and slash game, then this one is for you. The graphics is just incredible. The controls smooth. The gameplay is addictive. Although it is relatively short it can be replayed for higher scores not to mention the two-player versus mode. If you like Metal Gear Solid 2 then you owe it to yourself to try this game from the same producer.
