Although I generally read the reviews on games I am going to buy, I usually never write a review. However, after reading some of these reviews, I can't keep quiet. First of all, I hate to burst some of your bubbles, but every computer gamer will tell you that some games have very specific requirements that need to be fulfilled. If your graphics card isn't one of them, then you should have read the box. Second, if your system is to old, buy a new one, it is not the games fault.
BHD is a solid game. Visually it is excellent. It is somewhat difficult, but no more then most FPS's (who wants a game you breeze through?). The effects definitley make you feel like you are in combat and certainly add to this games appeal.
As far as negatives, your teammates are somewhat useless, and the AI could use some work. I have also come across some minor graphical errors as well, but every game usually has a few as well. Overall, this is quality game, worthy of any person who likes FPS's and has a system that meets the requirments.
An absolute blast

I think that this may be the most fun I've ever had with a game. If you can look past occasionally goofy AI, you will not be disappointed.
There are surprises waiting around many corners in this game, so you will probably not get bored with it. You will feel a sense of urgency in some missions, which is somewhat rare.
If I had 1 wish for the game, it would be that the hardest level is slighly more difficult..I have beaten it numerous times on all levels now..And I'm not a video-game freak either!!
Can't wait for the expansion pack.

Zero stars! My copy of Delta Force V: Black Hawk Down came with no CD key. So, I call the support number listed in the manual and no one picked up the phone. Well, this game is on it's way back to Amazon. I want my money back and I am not going to buy another Novalogic game ever!

This game blows. Not only do you have incredibly stupid teammates, but the enemy is just as dumb, the load times are long and it has limited saves.
I love first-person shooters but this one is a total bust. Try Max Payne 2 if you want an incredible fps experience.

Novalogic finally produced this "best delta force game". It is too realistic on every mission. Urban firefight, too intense. Novalogic did the very good job this time. I am really enjoy playing this game. Anyone who love military shooting game must buy this one.

The graphics and gameplay are awesome. U need a great computer to run it though. The major downside is that u can't drive the hummers or the helicopters. I have never played any previous Delta Forces so i don't know if u can drive the vehicles. A must get game!

I was initially hesitant to buy DF:BHD after playing DF:TFD, but I did anyway, and I'm happy to say it was one of the best gaming choices I have made in a long time.
Graphically, BHD stands well above the rest of the DF games. While not quite on the level with some of the modern FPS games, the graphics engine is still able to convey a very realiatic experience. The terrain and structures made me feel very much like I was actually in Somalia. Soundwise, nothing new, but thats not a bad thing; to tell you the truth, I don't think it needed anything more, it was excellent.
Gameplay was amazing. There are some very difficult parts, but nowhere was I ever so frustrated that I didn't want to reload the mission and try again. Firable weapons on Hummers and Blackhawks is a definite plus. Missions are very well thought out, with the different parts of individual missions flowing almost seamlessly into one another. Gameplay is much more methodical than most other games, making the pace a bit slower, but much more intense. You never know if around the next corner you will come face to face with a 50 cal machine gun or a harmless peasent. Make sure to check your fire.
Multiplayer is the big winner here though. With 7 (I think) different MP game types, anyone is sure to find what they like. MP has 4 different player classes, and over 15 usable weapons, not including emplaced weaponry. Never before have I had so much adrenaline rushing thought my body then after a 30 minute round defending a series of targets against another team. Good mix of close/urban and long range/country side combat. The maps are huge, even the urban combat ones. With both cramped alleyways and broad avenues, MP truly brings urban combat to life like I've never seen it before.
Buy this game, you will not be disappointed!

I was lucky to be able to return my copy of the game. I have a P4 1.5 GHZ that is about two years old. The game would run. However, the graphics were awful and the screen movement very slow.
I tried working with the settings. No luck. I should have paid more attention to the package. The box says that for best results my processor should be at least 4 GHZ
