Most people think the whole delta force serious was a disgrace to the PC world. I am pround to be a part of the Delta Force Community and I love the delta force series!!!!!!!!!!! This new game black hawk down isn't however ANYTHING like the old delta force series! So novalogic just because some people don't like your other games so u don't make as much money as u would with newer games with different gameplay. Well this game may be greatly appealing to the rest of the PC world but what about us loyal Delta Force fans who have bought the entire series made our buddies buy the entire series! We spent our money on buying webspace for squads about the series and we even spend 10+ hours a week on these games! So now u give us some game which makes more people go out to the store and buy the game, but not me I will be play with my loyal delta force fans on the game play we love! All u guys in Novalogic are doing is dissipointing delta force fans alike, so if u guys want to care about only money and dump us like we never spend all that money on your game then go ahead but just think when u guys are getting your fancy cars we will be playing the same old game waiting for new weapons and new computer AI! I as a Delta Force fan think that if u would keep the same graphics and basicly the same gameplay then with a new weapon here and there would be all u need to get us Delta Force fans to buy your game! Think about it u guys get more money and get us happy even with not so many improvements. Don't listen to all the reviews because we love the games and will stick with it!!...

the main game sucks because well its to hard and its boring the only thing fun about this game is the online multiplayer but still it gets boring quckly. it will probably keep u ocupied for a week or two.

This game is very challenging. It's also very fun. This game is a game you can play all over again. I've already beat it three times! I suggest you get it!

exactly like the computer game

This is awesome. I have played this game on my PC, but was frustrated with the keyboard as my only controller. Now that I have it for xbox, I thought it would have different maps or weapons, but it is exactly like my PC version. But now with the better controller, I no longer touch my PC. Awesome.

well first off, this game is historically accurate of what happened in 1993 when he u.s went to go capture war lords. this game is incredibly fun but the gun effects dont always make me happy. they sound a little cheap. Also, if i crawl around a corner, very slowly, i still get shot at! how in the eath did they see me?! very stressing. i mean sure you get to ride i a humvee, but you wiill still amost die because you have no protection against the enemies. and the blackhawk helicopter? there is only 3-5 short levels of this enjoyment. how dissapointing!

The fun point about this game is that you get to shoot all those charging crazy buggers that try to shoot you dow right as step out of the helicopter. graphics dont always impress either. i would recomend this game only if you want to shoot down and capture the streets of somalia. So many soldiers that kill you and hide in buildings is very annoying. so long!

Great FPS classic

Been playing this since summer '03 and later the Team Saber expansion pack, primarily for additional maps and weapons in multiplayer mode. Have logged tens of thousands of minutes of mulitplayer time (mostly DM and TKOTH).

I have thouroughly enjoyed this game and continue to spend hours online gaming. Simple install, not buggy, relatively simple learning curve, with an extended growth curve to learn the nuances of each map, weapon, and game type. Multiplayer is much more engaging than singleplayer where the AI is relatively predicatable, although it serves as a good way to learn the interface.

Nova, however shut down some of the more popular servers (Nighthawk DM) and tightened its cheat policy which seems to have driven a lot of players away, at least from Nova's servers. (this doesn't seem to have kept some players from getting an abnormally high nubmer of headshots). Nova's follow-on games (DFX, Joint Ops) dont have the same user interface, or in the case of JO, rank and awards, so they seem more oriented towards squads. TeamSpeak seems to be a common, but not required add-on.

In short a great FPS bargain. Still current but starting to show its age. I suspect some of the hard core players are turning from BHD to Battlefield 2 for more advanced play.

I just downloaded the demo of black hawk down a day ago and it runs at about 50-60 fps on the low settings witch i might ad on the low settings it is still visually impressive. I ran this game on a pentium2 350 mhz 128mb ram soundblaster audigy and a geforce 4 is ran suprisingly well i thought it would be a slide show but it wasn'tand don't belive the people when they say the multiplayer [stinks] it rocks the maps are huge and the sound is amazing so the first single player level [stinks] i don't even know what to do because it's impossible to shoot the enimes the devolepers should have made the first level when you crash and start shooting on the ground and if you have a low end system itshould work well on the low settings but i plan to upgrade to a pentium 3 1.0 ghz and i will buysome more ram and then itwill run great on the high settings. So it only gets a 4 because of the single player so now i can't enjoy the rest of it so novalogic make a game about the war in iraq or the one in afganistan and if you make a helicopter level make the marines getting dropped off and trying to get to cover.

I think Delta force Blackhawk down should cost less, like $20.00 or at least $24.00. target is making it so that only people that have 30 bucks can buy it. So please!!!!!!!!!!! Lower the price target. You will be thanked for it, by thousands.

The game play was a little linear, but overall very good. Weapons damage was fairly realistic. Graphics look a little dated, but doesn't detract from the game play.

If you like to play games where you know where the enemy is and can turn a corner and shoot to kill - this is the game for you. The format remains exactly the same every time. Your "team" does nothing but get in your way. I liked a couple of the early delta force games but this one SUCKS.
