I loved this game. My friend and I rented it when it was pretty close to new and we play two days straight only stopping when we had to eat sleep and take a break 'cause our eyes hurt! This is an awsome game wich should at least be rented by anyone with a PS2. Awsome game couldn't help but tell you this.

This game is DA bomb!!!!!

I cant wait till ROTK comes out its awesome with the great graphics.AND i saw a picture in PC gamer where gandalf was holding a pike ready to be thrown at a pursuing orc!Which means there will be so many envirnment objects that will be usable!I also know that u can go three seperate paths:the king's path,lone-wolf ganalf's path AND the hobbits' path.The really cool thing is u can do is hav a co-op(if u havent heard for the 50th time). THIS GAME IS GONNA ROCK the game industry.Im going to try to find a way to get my copy any way i can

P.S.-i heard all u computer players might be able to do online multiplayer!where u might play as gimli on one computer, and have legolas and aragorn on 2 others in the same battle!

Fun is inversely propertional to time spent playing.

Allow me to begin by saying (...)I was so excited to get this game. So I pop it in, and guess what? I have to sit through five hours of cinematics, just to play some level that never even happens in the movies, or the books. But, that level was fun, so I didn't get too upset. Since I was forced to start with gandalf, I decided to play with him for the next level. After sitting through another five hours of cinematics (that's ten hours of cinematics and ten minutes of gameplay so far) I'm stuck on some wall with a bunch of (...)who can't even figure out how to kick over a ladder, let alone stick a sword in an orc. So, being the all-mighty white wizard I am, I start mindlessly pressing buttons, only to find that we are overrun by seemingly invisible orcs. So, I try again. This time, I kick over the ladders for the absent-minded men (no wonder they're getting owned) only to find a siege tower filled with several orcs unload RIGHT NEXT to archers. Of course, we cant fire our bows at those orcs, let's shoot mindlessly into the scenery. After around two hours of trial and error, I beat this level. (...)

this game is awsome it's harder than the two towers the bosses are to. the two player mode is good two but the only complant is you have only one life. you can play as Gandalf aragon legolas gimli frodo sam and three other secret charaters i am not going to spoil it for you there are 15 levels the moves are awsome the grapics are great what can i say except buy this game

I didnt think they could do it but they made The The Two Towers look like Pacman.The graphics are absolutly amazing they're stunning. And then of course you cant forget all the extra footage its like ive already seen the movie (but I still think you should see it). You can play as Gandalf,Aragorn,Legolas,Gimli,Sam or Frodo.

I only got to play this game a few hours while at a friends house but man! is it GREAT! The very first mission I tried was with the path of the (can't remember what path it was). It had Legalos Gimly and Aragorn. any way IT WAS GREAT! on the very first levels you were killing everything and anything. I didn't get to finish the game for lack of time to play, but i got a taste of wat I hope I can do again. I admit the grafics weren't great. Rather bad. But it will most likely not bother you if you don't dwell on it. The story line was terific (considering that I havn't seen or read return of the king.) un fortunatly my friend did not have another controler so we could not play the co-op. Well I got my five stars and would pay a hundred dollars for it. If I had that much. Thank you for reading this and spending your time seeing how I felt about the game.

3.new characters and levels!!
4.much longer than TT
5.its more challenging, smarter enemies,takes more skill than just mashing buttons-why some people dont like this is unknown but good challenge is always fun!!
6.Online play!!
7.sweet new moves and combos
8.cool scenes from the movie and voices from the actual actors
9.Fun even after you have beaten the game-unlock levels and characters
10.Killing loads of orcs is always fun!!
This game is definately worth your money

Beating gollum

The game itself is great but im not so sure what to do when I have to beat smeagol it starts off with frodo and sam walking in the rock part of the ring tossing but gollum comes out of nowhere and tackles frodo slaps him to stop him from pushing him off then takeing the ring and biteing his finger off but anyway bottom line gollum is impossibly hard to beat the most I have ever got him is twice but then i die again cause he is not killable unless you smack him to the edge and stab him in the back but he climbs up the wall and trys to kill you again so bottom line how do you kill the guy without him killing you with his (so called) fists of fury?

Cool, but it could have been better.

DC here. I think this a great game and I like it very much but I still think it could have been better. Anyone who's played The Two Towers or Fellowship of the Ring probably remembers the characters mouth move while speaking and it gave the game a real feel to it. You think they would do the same for this one right? Wrong. I don't understand why they wouldn't take the time to finish that. Oh well. Next, the levels weren't all that challenging except for shelob, she was one of the most challenging bosses I have ever fought. I like challenging video games and this game sorta fails on that. Well, that's my review for this game. I still play it anytime I can and think it's a must have for any LOTR fan. Well, that's a rap.

Can't wait !

This game is gonna be great! The gretest thing about it is that it has a co-op mode for 2 players. It also has new characters which is really cool. As soon as it comes out I'm buying it!
