The game is awesome. Put away some minor bugs. The game simple blew me away. I've played the entire game, and on online servers and never got bored (except with teammates that don't know how to work as a team, but that's our falts, not Westwoods). I find that everything is really good throughout the game. It just semply blew me away, as stated above so.

Just a warning though, if you are a voodoo person, you might experince problems installing since voodoo isn't supported anymore.

first of all, i'm a huge fan of the command & conquer games. i have every one of them (except this one).. red alert 2: yuri's revenge is one of my favorite games ever. anyhow, i downloaded the demo of renegade and i was so disappointed. it just does not compete with the good fps games.. get medal of honor: allied assault instead. actually, there are 1 level demos of renegade and mohaa..get them both and see the difference!!!!

Now im a C&C fan and i think C&CR (Renidade) is really good fun to play i love it yeah Theres NO BLOOD but its still cool i HAVENT been so happy since Half Life came out the AI is good the levels are RRREALLY good and i thing westwood has do it again its so good SO BUY IT oh and if you love this you will love MOH RTCW and Half Life oh and heres a song i made look

Great game. The graphics are so real that you get motion sickness after playing for a few hrs.

A sure hit among the FPS and C&C crowds

I was really skeptical of this game at first, there are so many FPS that rip your money that a caution light or two went off looking at the box - but this one is worth the purchase.

System requirements for the box isn't that high, but you won't be able to really enjoy how the game looks unless running 1g+ mhz and at least a G3 Ti-200. In my 1200MHZ Athlon Ti-500 it ran flawlessly at 1240x1024 resolutions maxed out graphics. Tested on a G2 GTS system it ran choppy at times and graphics and resolutions are considerably lower quality. Easily playable on both systems.

Graphics looked alot like a UT engine with charactor animations done very well. Environmental textures were kept very simple and need much improvement, but don't take anything away from the game. Aircraft and other vehicles make continual appearances adding to the WAR aspect of the game.

The games plot follows other FPS games where your running around and they are sending you objectives as you proceed. Theres a typical weapon selection including a well done Flame Thrower. You can jump into most vehicles and use to your advantage (almost a mirror of Xbox HALO). The gameplay is easy and vetern FPS will probley have to max out difficulty. Killing lots of machinegun armed enemies with a pistol is not very realistic and gets a little boring. Aiming is also way too easy. You don't even have to zoom with the sniper rifle as hud indications let you know when they're in your range.

Overall this game is a good purchase. Fans of C&C will be very happy. I hope to see more reasonable gameplay in the next version but am satisfied with the purchase.

For those of you who played the demo and wanna write a bad review on it, sit down. i played the demo and was not impressed, instead I waited for when HALO would be released for PC. (Oh, yeah it is coming.) Then a freind let me his copy. Everything had changed. It was awesome, the problems were gone and replaced by a smooth game. Granted there are some bugs, but what FPS doesn't have those. I immediately went out and bought it. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but I've been busy. I recommend this game. If you like C&C this is a great throw back to the early games. If you like FPS's, this has solid gameplay with some cool weapons. (Just check out the beacon for the orbital ion cannon!)If you're a FPS verteran, you'll like the innovations and feel comfortable in the old-school style. This game is just plain good. Even the keyboard controls are easy to use and master. If you're looking for a good game in the FPS style until HALO for PC or Metroid Prime for Game Cube, Renegade has you covered.

My Friend is a beta tester for westwood stuidos. When he told me about a FPS for C&C I was thrilled. I asked him when it came out. When It finally did I went and bought it immideatly. The single player is a lot of fun, but the multiplay is the best I have ever played. I have also herd that they are devolping flying vehicles along with the many land vehicles. I sugest you go and buy this game RIGHT NOW ...

And I've only played the demo!

I am writing this review after only playing the multiplayer demo. It is addictive. The game is very fun. If single player is half as good I would still give this game a 5 out of 5 stars.

I only give it 4 stars because I only played the demo and because the severs are a bit laggy but its being fixed and i got to play for an hour and i love it not just run and gun like most frist person shooters u need to think and plan i just hope the single player is good and that alot of moders make a ton of cool mods i cant wait till the really good moders out there get a hold of this game and make some outstanding mods this game is really shaping up to greatnesss
