COOL GAME!

This is the best game since Yuri's Revenge. Excellent

gameplay and awsome weapons are only a part of what makes this

a tip-top game. You are a fearless Renegade who follows no

ones rules but his. You fight and drive vehicles such as tanks,

Hummers, and dune buggys. You get pistols, rocket launchers,

ion cannons, rifles, chemical sprayers, and flame throwers, and

that's not all!! Once you start playing the game you don't

want to stop. You also get attached to the characters and the

story. You can also buy the Official Strategy guide a

Amazon.com for about [$$$], you'll need it! Hope you take

my advice: buy this game!

A must have for all C&C and FPS fans!

Well, it's a very great game! Wanna explore C&C universe in FPS view? Now you can with this game! Another great work by Westwood! Although they cut several features before the release off the game.

Pros:
Graphic - Well, although it's not very good compared with newer games, but from my view, with Westwood using their own created engines, I undoubtedly give them a superb score!
Gameplay - Very interesting new systems! I'd give Westwood 100 out of 100! It's no longer one-man show guys. It's about TEAMWORK. Ok, I know I'm here to write a review, not a strategy guide, but what I want to say is you'll have to march together with your team. In C&C mode on-line, Obelisk and AGT (base defenses) will make your one-man show almost IMPOSSIBLE. Although you've got a vehicle, but magine the battle from the original C&C, can a single Mammoth beat the obelisk? I don't think so. You'll be forced to attack as a team.
Action - Oh well, witness as your enemies' vehicles exploded with your rocket launcher.
C&C Things - Ion Cannon, Mammoth Tanks, Flame Thanks, Nuclear Strike, Apache, MRLS, oh my, it reminded me the original C&C!
Music - Good! I love the music, especially the first track, "Command & Conquer"
Cons:
Features - For your information, several great features were cut off the game before the release, including new gameplay modes such as Capture The Flag, DeathMatch, Team DeathMatch, I presume the reason is to prevent the delay of the game's release. This made the game to be much less interesting, Anyway. Hope they return later!
Enemy AI - Renegade Enemy AI = Stupid! I must admit it's one of the worst I've found so far, perhaps one of the worse EVER. Their advantage which made they seems godlike, is their health and weapon.

That's all. Despite the taken off features, and those stupid AIs, C&C: Renegade is a great game to play! Multiplayer is the best, you play alongside several awesome players to conquer the enemy base! Personally, I think this is a lot better than other FPS games, which normally you must perform a one-man show. I've played sth like that, and it isn't fun at all. That's why C&C: Renegade rules.

this game is awsome the graphics r good and i love the FPS.

Its awesome to finally be able to drive the tanks and shoot the weapons in first person mode. I just hope they expand it.

This game was mediocre. It was fun shooting and fun playing but if you're an online player you may have difficulties. Bit laggy online and I'm running 1.06 GHz Intel Pentium Processor. If your internet library doesn't install like it didn't for some of my friends you're pretty much SOL because westwood support is nearly impossible to get through to. They do not answer/respond via phone or email. Took them 3 weeks to have them tell me they will sort out my problem within a week. That kind of bull is not needed if you want to spend 45 dollars on a game. Anywho, if you wish to buy it, it's a good game, just if it doens't work, return it!

Finally, a small GDI gunner can survive

This game is incredible. My first thought was, yay a Gunner has a chance against a tank. And he does. They couldn't have made a C&C FPS much better than this. The only thing that concerns me is that in Multiplayer practice the AI is the stupidest you've seen. HOwever if you look at some of the people online, the AI starts to look intelligent.
Some people complain about lag but any friendly intelligent person will tell you just press F8+C+Enter to improve lag.

Great Game, I need to buy it.

I love the C&C series games. Now we get to play them from inside the bases and landscapes. Based on the other reviews I guess the demo was lousy, however, I haven't had any complaints about the AI. The graphics are outstanding. My biggest criticism is the cut-scenes. Ther're kinda cheezy. All in all, the game is awesome and very fun and addicting to play.

An excellent addition to the C&C line of games!

Sure the graphics aren't as good as Return to Castle Wolfenstein's, but graphics aren't everything. They are respectable, and run very well on lower-end machines. Also, the sounds are very clear, crisp, and easy to identify; so I can say, "Hey! That bullet came from a Black Hand's Sniper Rifle--I better find some cover!"

The multiplay is intense. The netcode is very clean which lends to good frames-per-second even during heavy fighting on Complex.mix (a really big multi map). And with the new AirCraft patch being released just weeks from today (two new maps with buildable\drivable aircraft, complete with special layouts and structures especially for the use of th new AirCraft), the strategy will be upped quite a bit. The BETA testers have said, "...the aircraft aren't all these maps offer: sniper wars have been brought to a whole new level..."

The single player is okay--as some have said the story could've been different. It was still very fun. Tomorrow's Technology Today is my favorite mission: lots of stuff to do, varying strategies must be employed for success, and a special twist in the middle...

It is a very good game but only if westwood would support it further than they have(2 patches) the game would be the best game ever. It is very laggy on the internet but again westwood hasn't tried to fix this. The game is very high end so you might have to get a new computer to run the game. I give it 5 stars in spite of the problem's that westwood has failed to fix in the 4 months of renegade being out.

Actually I would give this game a 3.5 but because it was based on the Command and Conquer series it deserves 4 stars. I read in some reviews that people who bought this game did not like it. Well I am a big fan of FPS games and I liked this game. It is not the best game ever thats for sure but playing command and conquer in 1st person is surely fun. The graphics are very good actually but in some areas they could be better. You can use many vehicles in this game and that is something that adds more value to the game. The control of the vehicles are so easy also. However it is true that the game revolves around saving 3 scientists. You destroy the bases and use the CC vehicles but I think the story could be different. Something like prevent NODs to nuke the world. Not to save 3 scientists. So I believe the story is week but the game is much fun to play. ... Not a perfect game but still much fun...
