Hello. Today I do an Opinion Review

Graphics: Good
Nintendo did an pretty good job on graphics. Not NES, But not HDTV good. But, heck, it's better than the Gamecube one.

Gameplay: Incredible!
I'm being COMPLETELY HONEST! This is a great game in the gameplay area!
From designing a house interior, to drinking coffee in the morning. (Really!) It dosen't SOUND fun, but trust me, it is!

Controls: Very Bad (Until you get the hang of it, then it's OK)
OK, Nintendo, This is the ONLY area you messed up on. Ok, this is the run-down, the GCube's controls were IMPOSSIBLE to NOT learn. But this, They kept the button controls, but they moved the buttons around!
But once you get the hang of it, it's easy.

Characters: Very Good
Oh My Goodness! So many characters, So Little in your town!
This WOULD of been Incredible!, but, you can have 8 in your town, but there are about a BAZILLION different villagers!

Overall: "drumroll please!" ... VERY GOOD!
It's great. Good characters, good gameplay, Little lousy on the graphics, but that is a DWARF, compared to GIANT Pros.!

Animal Crossing is addicting, not a bad thing!

My 2 children, 6 and 12, love this game. So I went and got myself a DS and this game. We love playing together and going into each other's worlds. We help each other on how to pay off our mortgages and get things we want. We give each other items and different fruit to grow in our world. We learn how to get along with the other animals that live in our world. It really is cute and fun. No violence just a nice fun game. It helps my children to read and follow directions. They do this without thinking. My children's friends have this game too and they enjoy it as much as we do. I would recommend this game for everyone!

I purchased Animal Crossing about a week ago for my eight year old child. Not only did she love it, I thought it was really cool too. What we realized after a few days of playing was that the characters are not only snarky but down right mean. I'm in shock because my daughter was just called stupid and rude for no apparent reason by one of the characters (Gwen). I've been playing the game with her because I'm very cautious about anything my daughter gets into. I noticed that at any given time, all of the characters can be petty, materialistic, rude and mean. How is this game rated E??? I don't get it. This game is not for kids who's parents teach them manors, respect for themselves and respect for others. Now.........I gave this game one star for fun because other than having to deal with the characters, this game "could" be really great. My rating of one star for overall is based on the fact that I can not ignore the blatant and hostile tone of this game. I will never reccomend it.

A game that everyone can enjoy

I was a big fan of the first Animal Crossing so i pre-ordered this one. I waited months and then it came. I sat down and played it right away for about 3 hours. Some people say the first one was better but I complettly disagree!

Imagine if you would the perfect game.

Ok, now that you've done that, let's talk about ACWW.

In ACWW, you move into a small, tree-filled town that exists in a parallel universe to our own. You wander about, talking with your neighbors, working in the local store, gathering fruits and fishing. Oh yes, fishing. You have a mortgage to pay, you must keep the trees and flowers happy. And your neighbor? He's a penguin. Honest.

Animal Crossing is a fun game. Until you realize, you have no life so you just spent $40 to play a game that provides you with one. And with the new Nintendo DS wifi system, your "friends" can come visit from Canada, or Singapore, or wherever it is popular to claim your girlfriend lives these days.

Yes, this is the game for those who have no life of their own so they pay Nintendo to provide one for them. And Nintendo succeeds.

(And its hella fun.)

This is a cool game

Bought this game for my 9 year old daughter. She likes it ok but likes Mario Kart better. It is a good game and I think some folks would appreciate the slow pace but I would recomend Mario Kart for a 9 year old girl.

The first day I played "Animal Crossing: Wild World", I thought it was the most boring game I had ever played. The game was being given such great reviews that I wanted to know what I was missing out on and it turned out that it wasn't much. Since the game runs on real time, it can be quite boring. Finding all the bugs and fish is a huge hassle that takes about a year because some (or most) only appear during certain months.

After continuing to play for about a week, I found it was entertaining to collect the fish and bugs and to run errands for bells to upgrade the house. But it gets old fast.

There's a lot of emphasis placed on fashion and design, what with designing your own clothes for the animals to wear and buying furniture to make the house look nice and receiving points for the way one arranges the furniture.

Also, I agree that the mole named "Resetti" is an extremely rude character. I had not seen the mole until I decided to reset on purpose a few times because people were commenting on how overboard he goes- and I must say I agree. Why that character was included in this supposedly "children's game" is beyond my comprehension. "Resetti" could most definitely hurt a child's feelings with what he says and what he makes them type.

This game is alot of fun! I love RPG's and Im and ol school nintendo harvest mooner. I also got harvest moon for my DS lite and i would rather play animal crossing almost all the time, if not then longer than i play harvest moon.

The screen shoots are perfect not to big not to small, i like you can play with the camera in displays. and in your room. for zooming action.
i think the goal to get the environment , and the boondox, at town hall are a really cute thing and the morgage, i just made my 4th expansion im stouked!

Enjoy your game! If any one wants to come to my town "Home" email me at [...] and we'll exchange friend codes.

Animal Crossing on the go. Nuff' Said

Everything about the original Animal Crossing on the Gamecube has been transfered to the DS version, and even changed up a bit. You can look of it as an expansion around the original game. It adds a few things, but keeps its original concept alive. WiFi also adds a whole bunch the Gamecube version needed so desperately. The only thing that keeps it from being a 5, is that it can get extremely repetitive. I don't suggest playing a whole bunch every day, as you'll quickly grow bored. Just pick it up every couple of days and tend to that town you so desperately love.
