This is the most best game in the world. This game you can say saved my life from having a crooked back from playin video games so much. This game combines fun with a great workout something to have where your parents will not say you sit around on your [rear] all day. At least try it once and get the hang of it you might become addicted.

I had played all of the arcade versions and I had to get this for my Playstation. It is so much fun! The one thing I couldn't get was how to get a girl player instead of a boy well all you do is plug the one player mat into slot two! There is endless fun and lots of sweet songs and very cool dancers! It is deffinetely worth the price and you can get different versions and I've had mine for a year and I still haven't beat all of the levels!

I got this as a Christmas present from my parents and the first day I played it I loved it! It's not that hard if you practice one song a couple of times. It's a GREAT workout too. After half an hour I was sweating! A wide song selection is a nice perk too. One thing to be careful of though is, when they say Pop, don't think Britney or BSB. The songs are great to dance to, but I have NEVER heard of any of artists. Also, my Mom had to buy the dance pad on ebay. It takes getting used to but, it's cool to see your moves light up on screen.

this is a real fun game.my children range in age from 6 8 and 14 they all enjoy playing it,when their friends come over they wunt to play.You get a great work out with out knowing it .the game mat is hard to find but when you get it you wont stop dancing. im trying to find the hard mat and have had no luck.buy the game its soooooo much fun

Great game brings Bemani DDR home to your Playstation! Dificulty has all 3 levels basic trick/difficult Maniac/Expert some of the songs are "Have you never been Mellow","Paranoia","Dynamite Rave",two different "Put your faith in me"s and "Dub I Dub" to name a few. this is an great DDR game esepeacialy for Beginers(like me!)

Hi ! This game is really great,the music is really cool , and the fun to play it, is amazing ...although it is very easy to learn & really hard to master. The reason I am awarding only 4 stars to this game is because there's way too much adjustment or settings available. High-low this & Hard-easy that... I mean I wanted to shut down the game and didn't even got to the "playing window" yet ! But there's a "short cut" option in the main menu, like if even the producers/creators knew that it was too long to set up ! Anyway, buy it,play it ...it's really cool even without the "carpet" dance controller ! And by the way, if you live in an appartment, better forget about using the "carpet controller" !

GET THIS GAME EVERYONE!! IT IS SO TIGHT

This is so fun espeacilly when u use the dance pad it is like how u play it in the arcade. The songs are tight. Also this games is a good way of excersing. This is one of the best PSX game out their, I only wish if tey had this for PS2 or they had he other dance dance revolution mixes.

The people at Konami have really outdone themselves! I used to spend dollar after precious dollar playing it in the arcade, but now i have it at home, where i went from failing 5-difficulty songs to passing 9's. This game is nothing less than perfection. If it were up to me, i would give this game 1,000 stars, but i cant. Buy this game!

Dance Dance Revolution is a game that is for everyone who loves videogames, dancing, great music and having fun. This game is great for parties and is great for all you hardcore gamers who could afford 2 lose a few pounds (like me). The game can adjust to you level of play and has a great selection of music. Most of the music is really good and most songs promoting dancing. There is a wide range of styles like, pop, JPOP, techno, dance and hip hop. You might not like it if you are one of those types of people who dont like things if you arent good at it right away. It takes practice to be skilled at the game. Once you get really good, the best part about DDR is going to the arcades and freestyling and showin' off yer massive skillz!^_^
Like I said before, Dance Dance Revolution will never get old and it is great for parties and multiplayer. You can play with a controller, but it takes all the fun out of a great game. The graphics are decent but not top of the line (like it matters). In conclusion, once you get the money, GET THIS GAME! I guarantee that you wont regret it. Peace out!

A must-have game for Playstation One owners

I have been playing this game for months now. It's the kind of game that you can pick up at anytime and have fun. I got this game because it requires you to move to the music and thus get some exercise while I'm at it. This is definitely a must-have for Playstation One owners. It is also a great family game, one that can be enjoyed by all ages. I don't know what this complaint is all about as far as the music. I think they miss the whole point of the game. For music, I would give it four out of five. But for gameplay, I give it five out of five!
