Roller Coasters

Unfortunately, this game has not been released yet but with my experence with the other 2, I am sure that this game will be the best out of them all. They are full of color and fun, but always chalanging to the mind. When this game comes out, I'm defentally going to buy it!

I don't need to play this one...

I have RCT, and RCT:CF (RCT= Roller coaster tycoon). This one is gonna be the same thing as add on number one (Corkscrew Follies) meaning you will need RCT, but for this one you'll also need CF for it to work.

Well Loopy Landscapes should have more themes for your park, a new roller coaster or two and you'll be able to do more stuff with the ground. The example I got was the fact you'll have cliffs now. I got this info from an interview with Chris Sawyer himself from the web page RCT UK (I think, anyway...).

I Hope there will be more music and theme s to go with the music (Like they had a Chinese song for your ride but no Chinese music =( ) But like I said it should have many more themes and make your park a lot prettier. It's gonna be a smart buy if you are a big fan or RCT.

Any RCT game or add on is great

One of the greatestgames in history will be even better in September as RTC:LL is comming out! With new landscapes(hesce the title)and rides this promices to be a comperical add-on

REVIEW: Number one, the add-on gives you more Roller Coaster Tycoon, and I mean a lot. You get 30 new scenarios which in itself becomes just as good as some of the add-ons for different games out there. But you also get a lot more. You lots of stuff like new ride elements, new roller coasters, gentle and thrill rides, kiosks, themes, entertainers, landscapes etc... The interface is also changed a bit. In the add-on, almost every ride or attraction can play music and there are many different musical scores that can be played to pretty much any theme in the game. (eg. jungle drums for the jungle theme, roman fanfare etc...) Not to mention a few other small extras such as "real" names for guests, and a few more views.

THE UPS: Great new rides and attractions. A lot of work has gone into the theming aspect of aspect of Roller Coaster Tycoon, the addition of more music also adds more variety to the game which is definitely relief for my ears after hours of the carousel fair organ. The additional elements added to existing rides (such as the covered cars for the miniature railroad) are a great improvement.

THE DOWNS: There should've been less effort to create so many new roller coaster types (even though they are all very good) and more effort put into other rides such as the river ride, log flume, car ride etc... It would've been nice to be able to put scenery underground. The new scenarios are very hard.

THE BOTTOM LINE: I would just ignore everything I said in the "downs". This is a great package. A lot of hard work and effort has been put into making this worthwhile and I believe it is definitely worth the trip to the local software dealer. Despite a few unattended things that many would have liked to see, I still really liked this add-on pack. In comparison, this add-on pack also seems to have more "stuff" in it than other packs such as "Aftermath" for Command and Conquer Red Alert. Corkscrew Follies concentrates in every aspect of the game and pretty much makes the game even better than ever. I highly recommend it and I have given it a 90%.

loopy landscapes

Rct: Loopy Landscapes will make the world's greatest theme=park game (RCT) even better! According to recent press releases, Loopy Landscapes will include Corkscrew Follies with it. Among the new roller coasters will be the S&S Thrust Air 2000, the Vekoma SLC/Invertigo, the Arrow Arrowbatic, and the Premier Rides "Liquid Coaster". It will also feature a new donut shop, a coffee shop, and a T-shirt shop among others. Probably the greatest feature of all are the new stations and new types of queue lines. This expasion is guaranteed to be great!!

Being a big fan of this game, I already have the Corkscrew Follies expansion pack. I do kind of resent in a sense having to buy it again in order to get the new stuff. Why couldn't this be just a single Loopy Landscape expansion pack priced a little bit cheaper rather than this "double" expansion pack?

I am extremly impressed with the new add-on Loopy Landscapes, but I am extremly mad at Chris Sawyer and Hasbro for including the second add-on, Corkscrew Follies, with the game and jacking the price up 10 dollars! I am mad because I already own Corkscrew Follies and I purchased it for 20 dollars. I am not going to by this game until they lower the price to 20 or have a single add-on pack availiable.

I haven't actually played the game yet, but it looks amazing! The 30 new scenarios are really a plus, as are the castles and new scenery! I am a faithful gamer who has both the original and CorkScrew Follies-both are truly unique and stand out among games! I am really looking forward to Loopy Landscape's release! It will be, I am sure, a big hit!

Although I have'nt yet had the opportunity to play this add-on, I imagine it will be just as great as the 2nd, Corkscrew Follies. I wanted to write this review prior to playing the game, to talk to those of you disgruntled about the inclusion of Corkscrew Follies. Hasbro is offering a $10 rebate to Corkscrew Follies owners. If you send them your old CD-Rom, they will send you $10 back to help compensate for the price. You can find the info on this at Rollercoaster Tycoons' offical website.....www.rollercoastertycoon.com...Those of you who don't care, buy this....the new themeing and entrance and exit features will be worth it alone!!

this game will be one of the best ever created. The only bad part about it is that if you already have corkscrew follies it's sort of a waste of money because nobody really keeps the UPC code of a game you purchased a year ago, but... all the rides and theming sound great. I've heard a lot from people on message boards about night-view and 1st-person view; I know for a fact first-person view isn't in this yet and hoping night view is in. What's the purpose of lamps if it never gets dark? and living in WIsconsin i've been to a couple 'arctic' themeparks too. They were all mostly inside.
