If you think that Roller Coaster Tycoon is just another boring, badly designed game - think again.

This game is a very well pulled off game with some very interesting rides and scenarios. The possibilities are virtually endless, which allows you be as creative as possible with your park.

And the expansion packs make it even better. And there's a very good variety of scenarios, each with their own 'catch' or uniqueness to them. For example, 'Iceberg Islands' is all constructed on a large series of icebergs in the middle of the Arctic, which oyu must expand into a park. 'Aqua Park' is a park made completely out of water rides. 'Fiasco Forest' is full of badly-designed and dangerous rides, which you must fix.

I liked how this game had a lot of new extras, but I have to admit I liked the first one more. Even though this one had a lot of extras it wasn't much different from the first one.

Okay, so that may apply for the original tycoon too! I stayed for over 36 hours sitting in front of the computer playing. And I have done that a few times the last couple of years since I first bought the games.

When i first saw this game i thought it would be dull and boring. Then one day my friend let me borrow it and i still have! I instantly bought Loopy Landsapes and was blown away. This is must have for any gamer!

I got this for a gift. it was perfect new shops/stalls some new rides (mini golf,coffee shop, carmel apple stand)plus you can sell hats and t-shrits different colors.

Loopy Landscapes is the best thing that ever happened to me. I thought it couldn't get any better after Corkscrew Follies, but I was definitely wrong. I can't think of anything else they can add to RollerCoaster Tycoon, but I bet that Chris Sawyer will surprise me again.

I've had Roller Coaster Tycoon for about a year. I think its quite fun. Then I heard about this and came to look at it. And boy was I amazed! New stalls! New rides! I'm also a fan of spacecraft. So when I saw the space park, I knew I had to get it. Its a great addition to origanal RCT or Corkscrew Follies. Its to bad you cand only give it five, I'd give it 100!!!!!!!

If you are thinking of purchasing Rollercoaster Tycoon and you have Windows2000 you might want to consider the following.

Before you will be able to successfully run RCT on your Window2K machine you will have to purchase the Loopy Landscapes expansion pack (added cost) and then dowload a patch.

Otherwise this is a great game and the expansion pack will give some much needed fixes to some situations during game play.

Good, But The Challenges Are A Little Hard

This game is okay. The graphics are amazing and it has interesting new features and rides, like winter theming and the water coaster. But the challenges are just a little HARD. Some are hard as in they take a long time to complete, like Arid Heights. The hard part of that scenario is that as soon as your rating gets above 700, it can't fall below 700 again or you lose the scenario. Others are just hard, like the scenario where you have to fill in the missing sections of five rollercoasters so their excitement ratings will be 6.75 or above. All in all, I would say that while the game is fun and has great graphics and new features, it is for experienced rollercoaster builders only.

Loopy Landscapes is a very good expansion pack. It has all sorts of new rides and shops. It also gives you a lot of other scebarios. The only bad part of this expansion pack is that the scenarios are HARD. There's one scenario where you have to have 10 roller coasters with an excitement rating of at least 6. But the new roller coasters such as the flying roller coaster and the floorless roller coaster make up for it.
