This game is very exciting, but not exactly easy. For instance, you have to know your piano keys. ( I don't so i had my sister help me with that!) Some things are confusing, but I just wait an hour then come back, then some things stand out that didn't before. It certainly spookey! Especially the seance and ghostly moans....
I am even a little afraid to play it at night! I really look forward to getting more Nancy Drew games and books for my Birthday though, i just love the suspense! You must buy this game!

Love it!

This game rocks! The graphics are great and I really think it's cool how you get to call one of Nancy's friends if you need help and the puzzles and riddles keep me thinking on my toes. I would highly recomend this to anybody! =)

Now my daughter's a Nancy Drew fan too!

I remember how I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next Nancy Drew book, and how I couldn't put it down until Nancy had solved the case. So when I saw these games I thought they might be the perfect way to introduce my daughter to the heroine of my youth. Boy, was I right. Now she's inviting her friends over for mystery parties and asking for the next Nancy game. What I didn't expect is how much fun I would have. I'm just as eager for the next game to show up as she is!

Nancy Drew PC games are the best!

All 6 of the Nancy Drew games are worth buying. Although The Final Scene and Treasure in the Royal Tower, are better because they are newer. I play this with my eleven year old daughter and these games allow for several hours of gameplay, even if you are playing on the easiest level. These games are not too scary and have no violence. They are perfect for elementary children working on their strategicaol train of thought. Buy all 6!!!

My message is that Message in a Haunted Mansion is awesome!

This game is so cool! Sure, it does have seances and talk of ghosts and spirits, but it's all make believe and pulled together by a suspect in the game. It's all illusion and there is no truth behind all the ghosts, so parents should calm down about that part. It's very fun, and has very good graphics. It's my very first Nancy Drew game, which I got when I was 8. My older sister helped me out, because she was 15. I have to tell you, I wasn't even playing much, but I had a very fun experience anyways. It was so exciting with its superior sound and visual effects that were pulled together to make a spooky atmosphere. I mean, you could even see ghosts in the mirror! I tried playing it when I was 10, and with some hints and clues I managed to solve it. This game is more fun than all the other ones because it has such a supernatural yet logical view. All the supernatural stuff is all logical and isn't real either, so when I got scared I remembered that it was just Abby scaring me.This is the best Nancy Drew game there is! (Or at least one of the best) Thumbs up Herinteractive!

This was a pretty decent game. It was fun, educational, and contained very little violence. However, I have to take off two stars. The game was too limited. I was surprised by how few places you could go in this game. The game also did not take very long to play. I finished it in about 5 hours and I was playing on senior level. It is also not really fun a second time. However, if you have enjoyed other games in the series, then you will probably enjoy this one as well.

This is a good game. I liked the plot and especially the puzzles. The navigational system needed work though. There's a hint system in the game, but I recommend you only use it if you really need game. If you are a beginner in adventure games, chose the junior detective mode. The storyline is the same, but the junior detective makes it easier to figure out what the hints are. It's a bit shorter than I would like it to be, but then again I'm like that with all the games I like.

The game has just the right amount of everything and it's absolutely perfect for everybody, no matter how old you are. It has wonderful scenery and fantastic effects. It keeps you wanting to keep playing. There were times when I got stuck, but I went to [a web site]and it really helped me. (You can use the message board there to post your questions and get answers. I highly recommend the site.) Also, a few things to remember when playing:
-Pay attention to the highlighted words in the tapestry in Nancy's room
-Pay attention to the schedule in the dining room.
-Time is very important and you can set the time in Nancy's room next to her bed.

This game was fun but I won't be buying anymore of these Nancy Drew games. First of all, I finished it in about 6 hours (way less than the 20+ hours that the package promises). Secondly, there wasn't enough places to go. You can't go outside and there are very few rooms inside the mansion that you can go into. Third, this game is pretty much useless once you've finished it because it's not the type of game that you can play over and over again. Although I found the game enjoyable, I don't consider it to be worth the price I paid for it and I definitely will not be buying anymore of them.

The best game in the world!

When my sister and I got the Nancy Drew game we were so excited. We both have read at least one book and they were not half bad so we knew this would be fun, and luckily we were right!!! It is our favorite game now, here are some of are ideas: the clues were really helpful except for the last one because we could not figure out how to put the eye in but then we did and after that was really cool. It was neat exploring in the different places especially in Abby's crazy room. It was alsoreally cool when found stuff that would help people spy on us or secret passages. Another thing we liked was how there were so many puzzles, and it was fun doing them all. That was are review and I want you to know that this is the best game in the world!!! =)
