A Great Game!

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 1 / 1

Message in a Haunted Mansion was one of the best Nancy Drew games. I recommend it to people who think out of the box and come up with clever ideas. Try this one without cheating- or use only small hints. I rated this game 4 stars because the events that happened weren't as exciting as the very last one. The last one was the most exciting part of the whole game!
Thank you for reading my review.

TOO MYSTERIOUS

This game is great in graphics and it has beautiful colors in it and with the music you really feel like your in the mansion. The characters look very realistic and it's cool when you talk to them. You can even choose the response you give them. It may be too spooky for some kids but not too much. Be warned you will see a GHOST! It'll freak you out. The bad news it can become soo frustrating that you want to scream and when you do get to the good part, it finishes. Some of the characters remain soo mysterious you never find out where they sleep and what they were really up to. Oh well that's my opinion. It'll be great for mystery lovers but they'll be thirsty for more.

When I purchased this game, I was looking forward to some serious sluething. I got some serious sleuthing and more! The entire game had detailed and realistic graphics. The game play was fairly easy to learn (just a click of the mouse, really), and the game was remarkably fast for such detailed graphics. The music also adds a spooky theme, but it is not scary enough for you to want to stop playing. The plot (a mystery about an old Victorian house that was formerly a hotel, at which accidents were happening and there was a possible haunting) was interesting, and there was many diverse characters. The only bad thing was that the game was too short!!! I hope that more Nancy Drew games are developed soon!

The kids love it

The Nancy Drew software series is geared toward preteen girls, but I'm a college student and thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. It was challenging and kinda spooky!! I loved all the hidden places to find, the clues, the characters, the music, and the plot. The graphics and rooms in the mansion are pretty neat. Regardless of your age, if you like mysterious games with puzzles and adventures this is definitely for you!!

Nancy Drew Mysteries are entertaining and enjoyable. Some are better than others & this is one of the best. I have 10 of the 13 that are out and plan to purchase those plus any new ones that are produced.

Great Play!!

Message in a Haunted Mansion is the 3rd game in the Nancy Drew series. It is the first Nancy Drew game that I played. I have since then played 10 out of the 11 total Nancy Drew games. This game is one of my favorites.

Message in a Haunted Mansion takes place in an old Victorian mansion being restored into a Bed and Breakfast. It it the job of you, as girl detective Nancy Drew, to figure out why the recent accidents during remodeling have been taking place. You will meet various life-like characters and discover clues to help you solve the mystery.I recommend this game to anyone who likes mystery, and isn't afraid of a mysterious haunting!

In this third game in the series, Nancy is in California visiting a friend at her huge mansion that she is renovating into a bed-and-breakfast. While Nancy is there, strange things and accidents are happening at the mansion. You can explore the whole house, in fact, it's the only place you're at during the whole game. But that doesn't make it any less fun. I loved this game!

My son was 9 when we played this game together. It was a lot of fun and we spent about 2 weeks solving it. It was very satisfying and not as frustrating as other Nancy Drew titles. I highly recommend this game. This game is not for girls only! My son loves most of the Nancy Drew series.
