The best software out there

The Sims is the best software out there right now, and everyone knows about it. If you go up to someone and start talking about the Sims, they will know what you're talking about, even if they don't own a Sims game! And why shouldn't they? The Sims are so much fun and very addictive. The first day I got this, I played for 8 straight hours. No joke! And the expansion packs add even more excitement to your Sims experience. BUY THIS GAME!! You will definitely not be sorry!

In this game, you are like a god or movie director. You tell your Sims what to do and where to go. I enjoy this game.

After a while, this game does however get boring. this isn't a game you can beat and then move on to another -- Which is a nice change of pace.

I would recommend playing the game and them coming back to it at intervals. Sometimes I play the game almost non-stop for a few weeks then I stop playing for months. This way I never really tire of this game.

My favorite thing to do in this game is design houses and even make models of other people's houses.

All-in-all, this is a very good game. I highly recommend it.

It's strange that in this day and age, we can play a game that simulates what we should be doing in real life. Thank god there is a computer in the game so that our Sims characters can justifiably kill time the same way we do. I love this game. Creating a character, sending him to working, progressing in his job and social life and buying STUFF! It's not for the person who whats to play first person shooter games and just destroy things. This game takes thinking, and balance and the will power to do the things that NEED to be done in order to do those that WANT to be done. Who knows, you might even find yourself taking a different perspective on your own life.

Whenever I'm bored, I play this game and I end up playing it most of the day. If you buy this game, you'll definitly get you money's worth. I've had this game for a long time and I've never gotten tired of it. It's a lot of fun because you rule peoples lives and you never know what will happen to your sims. They could die, lose a job, etc.. I would highly recommend not to use the money cheat code. It's not that much fun after you use it a lot. This is a great and fun game. BUY IT!

I purchased Sims Deluxe for my daughter after much begging and pleading. I'm not opposed to computer games, but generally find them missing everything but entertainment value. BUT...the Sims is great! If I could, I would make daily play a graduation requirement. Here is a painless (actually fun) way to try out behaviors and lifestyle options and "live" with the consequences. Hey...[stuff] happens... This is one way to make good and bad choices and then see the results. I highly recommend!!

I bought the Sims Deluxe in January and then I got hooked and bought all the expansion packs. It is amazing!! I love this game it is fun but addictive.

I'm not much of a gamer, and my hand-eye coordination isn't as good as those well-conditioned in the complicated world of GameCube controllers, so The Sims (and all of the expansion packs) are perfect for me! Despite the ease in which everything can be controlled, The Sims is so much fun, and so addicting, that you will find yourself playing the game, easily, for hours on end.

Begin by designing your people. You can create images of yourself, people you know, or create your dream mate. Give them names, and then choose a lot for them to live on. Build a house, get your Sims jobs, expand their knowledge. Start a family, get rich, deal with real-life situations.

If you've never had the taste of power, beware, for it is incredibly addicting! I highly recommend this game! I also recommend Livin' Large, Hot Date, and Vacation expansion packs.

Would have given it 5 but . . . I had already purchased the original Sims game. This was a great buy for me, especially since I am on XP and did not previously have the Livin' Large expansion pack. I encountered no installation of gameplay problems either.

My advice, if you can afford it, just go ahead and buy it...Happy gaming either way!

i love playing the sims and this is a great edition to start with because you don't get exposed to too much too fast as you would if you had 4 different expansions to start with right away. but having said that i must also note that you'll start to want the expansion packs for the game after about 30-35 hours of play (believe me when i say, time goes fast when you play this game).

I was hesitant to buy this for my 10 year old daughter at first, but after playing it myself I realized that it was great. The only thing that concerned me at first was the people going to the bathroom and taking a bath. All the images are blurred out which was better. I also have a very mature and responsible 10 year old, so I would not recommend this for children who are going to make a big dal out of the blurred images. My daughter could care less, but I would not buy some of the other products due to even more compromising sexual acts. This was the best choice for our family and the most modest from what I have researched. We play this game together alot.
