I was looking forward to playing this updated version of Sim City and was very disappointed, to say the least. My computer has all the necessary hardware and software to run the program and it is still very slow and frustrating to play. The graphics are not much better than prior versions and overall the gameplay takes forever! If you have nothing else to do with your day you maybe better served watching grass grow.

This game was worth it, i know i just bought it and its been out for a while but it still is fun to play. i mean ive unlocked how to build a city so now i think im ganna work a real one now in my back yard... na im kidding but for real its a good game, so if you like a game that never ends this is the one you want.

I've been a fan since the first sim city. This version gives you even more power and detail in the game. The Rush Hour package also helps to have more activities and fun. Warning, you could easily get adicted to it ;)

i love sim city its the greatest software out there i spend our hours at theis game cause you do get addicted to it even my mom is starting to play with it and shes 40 something well you wont waste ur money on this game its a good game especially since it is a deluxe version you get more features for your money so you gettin some good stuff overall this game rocks you will not regret buyin this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sim city rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is much better than the previous versions but still doesn't address the difference between cities, counties or states.
I also deleted the game from my computer after spending a couple of hours to complete a city and the game just stops, exits without saving any work then puts you to the Windows screen. This happened three times, I then deleted the game and gave it to my kids for their computer. It also quit without saving when they installed and played the game on a different computer.

Fun game, frustrating at times.

This is a very fun and addictive game, my only complaint is the random crash to desktops. Im running Xp (SP 2) and have a fairly robust gaming computer. After about 2 hours of gameplay the game just crashed on me. No error message or anything. I have since patched the game from the Maxis website and save often. Haven't had another crash yet but may not have played for a long enough duration at one time. Otherwise this is a very nice update on SimCity.

I bought this game for 14 bucks and it is worth at least 5 times that price. If I simply take the time I spend with this game it might be the best value ever for a computer game!

Okay, you must love this kind of games. If you more into First-person shooters this game is NOT for you. But if you like micro-management and work for hours on something to make it work (or even a bit more perfect) this is for you.

I have to say that I didn't like SC4 when it was released but with the "Rush hour" upgrade which is included here it is totally worth its money. It seems like lots of little things were changed to make this game more enjoyable. Now you can take on little missions to earn some additional money if your city is not doing that well ;-)

All together a game which keeps you busy for hours! For real Sim City fans who loved SC3000 it is worth a look now. Unfortunately you can't take your old Cities with you :-(

My son says this game has a lot of fun things to do. The graphics are also very realistic.

I bought this mostly for my 12 year old son and myself. We both enjoy the tycoon series (roller coaster and zoo) and after reading reviews here I'd thought we'd enjoy Sim City.

We had no technical difficulties at all (hence the 2 star overall rating.) The game itself loaded and ran fine. It was frustrating at first because we've never played Sims and were lost. We figured it would be a lot more fun once we educated ourselves with the resources provided. We spent hours pouring through the game tutorials and manual. Even after understanding how everything worked, we found ourselves bored out of our minds. The only person in the family who experienced the slightest bit of joy was my 6 year old. He enjoyed blowing up the buildings.

I was expecting the game to be a lot more user friendly, with more fun creative options similar to roller coaster tycoon. Even if you liked any of the tycoons, you won't neccessarily enjoy Sim City.
