Seriously. This is the best game on the cube right now. The graphics, sound, music, gameplay, all a perfect 10. And you won't get bored! Trying to get gold medals on all of the levels is [hard]! But it will make you scream for more!
The best part is, you can unlock secret ships, like a tie fighter, the slave (boba fett's ship), and a few secret levels. This game is just the bomb and you will go buy it now.

This is the best Star Wars yet! The graphics, sound, depth, interactivity, and gameplay all far surpass Rogue Squadron and Battle for Naboo. A must have for anyone who likes to fly around and blow things up. (Hey, don't we all?) and have a great time. Needs a two player mode, but oh well... the game makes up for it.

First off the graphics are amazing, the textures are unmatched (unlike the old one), and the polygon count is insane! The game fits so closely with the movie that when im playing the death star trench run I find my self repeating quotes from the movie. Factor 5 did an awsome jobe on this game, although veterans from the old game will find it alot like its predisesor, this game dosn't feel like a rehash, it's one of a kind and the controls feel like second nature. One thing I tought was realy cool was that when you take down a star destroyer in one level, you go to it's crash site in the next level any laser turets you took out in the first level are still destroyed in that one. The reason I bought a game cube at launch was for this game.
Better than the first!

It's seldom that a game developer realizes that no matter how good the graphics are or how many trilloins of points you can get, a game will never succeed without a good engine. Factor 5 knows this and with their latet installment of their series popular Star Wars flight sims is genuinely fun to play, even if it simply means turning on the cockpit view and purposfully flying straight saying "I've got one on my tail". Star Wars junkies like myself (and there are alot of them) know what I mean.Graphics and sound are exellentand the missions all make you feel like you are playing a movie. This as not the sort of vannilla game that sell because of their licences only (think Disney games or some other Star Wars games). It would still be a killer app if it were Babylon 5, Farscape, or maybe even Battleship Galactaca. (hey, I said maybe...)
Back to clasic Star Wars!

(...)Star Wars:Rouge Leader 2. So, I rented it to see how it played and who cool it was. Beyond cool... I played the Death Star level and the graphics were non-stop jaw-droppin'. Sure it suffers from shortus-gameus which means short game. But the replay value is off the charts! The bonus missions will keep you busy to get. The real voices, the real movie scenes, and the real grpahics mean Star Wars. The game is a classic through and through. If that dosen't make you happy, no Jar Jar Binks!

This is a wonderful game with a lot of new features, much better control than previous games! I actually was not going to acquire the GameCube but did so because of this game and I am not sorry! If you enjoyed Rogue Squadron - you will revel in this sequel. Happy flying and may the force be with you!

this game is better than i ever imagined! it is so close to the movies, at times you think you're really watching them! the voices even sound like the original actors! a nice factor to the game is that it features the real voice of the character Wedge Antilles from the movies! the graphics will blow you're mind and the game controls like a dream! the game has 11 normal levels and 4 secret levels that you can access from earning medals on the mormal missions. the game also has a special features section with a 20 minute making of movie. yes thats right, MOVIE. theres also an option to listen to the entire game soundract. these options can only be accessed by earing medals or by knowing the passwords and i might just give you one. it access the making of option, enter ?INSIDER and there you go! the rest of the game is up to you to earn. so give this game a shot, and may the force be with YA!
This game is the greatest

Based on the 1977 movie this game has most of the same battles of the movie. Starting with the death star you will play as Luke Skywalker and Wedge Atlas in most of your missions. Some levels are movie based while other levels are some extras. Ever wonder how the rebels got the imperial shuttle? Well, I am not going to tell you. The battle of Endor is challenging and most of sound is from the movie. All in all it is a great game and I strongly recommend it. So remember the name Star Wars Rogue Squadron.
Great Game
