Ah, where to being with such a great game as this one? Well, I can say without a doubt this game will be a must have for most GameCube fans, and is probably the starting games for most out there. I'm sure you all know the story line by now, and if not, shame on you! But, in brief, this one picks up where the N64 version left off, you start out in the Death Star, and work your way up to Return of the Jedi, the last movie installment so far. This game's great, and be sure to check this one out as soon as possible this is definatly one you won't wanna miss!

Thank goodness for passcodes and this game too

Need passcodes?Rogue Leader has tons of em plus it features infinite lives and level select if you type the right passcodes. First part runs like a graphically remastered version of Atari's Star Wars and the rest features great outer space graphics. Buy this now.

First of all, I've heard negative reviews of this based on people saying "it's just a beefed up Rogue Squadron". OF COURSE IT IS!! AND IT'S GREAT!! What are ALL of PS2's games and a majority of Xbox games?? Updated and upgraded versions of original playstaion and dreamcast games, so quit whining. Needless to say, this is by far the best Star Wars video game ever. The animation is so realistic, the graphics are phenomenal, and the levels and feel to the game really bring the star wars universe to life! You feel literally like you are in the movies! The Battle of Endor exemplifies this most. Imagine screaming through space with literally 100's of ships all battling around you!! And I also gotta give a lot of credit to the sound. The effects are amazing, and the best part is that the game uses all the same music from the movies, matching all the scenes exactly! Gone is the monotonous Rogue Squadron theme that made me want to turn the volume off. Here, you'll wanna turn it up!! So why do you ask that this doesn't get 5 stars?? It does have it's flaws. For one, the game is fairly short and somewhat repetitive. Also, what is really annoying is that for all the new computer AI of the game, I CONSTANTLY find myself getting rammed into (not me ramming into other things)!! In a dog fight, I'll be taking out TIES left and right, only to turn and have something offscreen slam right into me. I've died 100 more times from this than from actually bing shot down. It really detracts from the gameplay. But what I was MOST disappointed in, and the programmers should really be ashamed of, is how embarrassingly bad the bonus levels and bonus aircraft are. Are they awards??? NO, more like punishments. I would think that being awarded new vehicles and levels for outstanding and skillful play would result in new and cooler stuff. If the programmers who wrote this game had ANY sense whatsoever, they would have the brains to know that people want the Millenium Falcon to kick serious butt...The Slave 1; nothing but eye candy. Vader's Tie Fighter; snoozarific! Anyways, it angers me that they put these "awards" into the game...In all, if you are a big Star Wars fan, and any type of gamer, then definitely buy this!! It has it's flaws and can be aggravating, but it is still worth it!

I bought this game hoping it would be worthwile. I've had it for 2 days and am already frustrated with the...controls, the bad camera angles, and the simplicity of the missions.

Nice graphics but still........

Yes folks the graphics are as good as everyone says. But other than that its the same game that was on the N64. Sure the mission and storyline is somewhat different but it's still remarkably similar. If you've played the first one then I'd recommend renting this before you buy it.

Really boring in time

Unfortunately, I was one of those idiots who bought Gamecube over PS2. I bought SSB:M, Rogue Leader, THPS3, Spy Hunter, and Cel Damage. I will tell you about Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II in this review. This game is great! Well it is until you get to some missions where they they don't even tell you how to use your weapons and what the objectives are. Some people call this a strategy game. I call it a Piece of [garbage] game. It could really use a two player mode. Missions like Raid on Bespin are almost impossible! Unless you are really good at these types of games, save your money.

One of the best games for Nintendo Gamecube!!!!!

This game is almost fully enjoyable. I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5, I'm chipping off one for difficulty. Most of you will probably think this is an easy game... The game is mainly that you fly as Luke Skywalker in a vide variety of ships. I like it mainly because you get to blow up stuff. My favorite part is when you chase and blow up Tie fighters. Also, I think, there are elevel missions, or levels. It takes three blocks of memory from your memory card to save your progress. Overall, this is a very good game. Buy it!... Do The CUBE!...
