Fun for a While, but Don't Overplay it.

I recently bought this game a few days ago and I think it was worth how much I paid for it ($20).

I started off watching the tutorial videos. They explain the game fairly well.

After that, I immediately started playing on Air Ride mode (normal racing mode, sorta like Mario Kart and F-Zero mixed together). I played a few races with my two older sisters. On my monitor, it was kinda smooshed and I think my sisters got the wrong impression, but they said it was too easy and left. They aren't really gamers and just play games whenever I get a new one so don't assume it's a bad game.

I kept racing a while, and realised it was sort of limited. The few levels were nice and the music was cool too, but there wasn't much variety of levels. The unlockable level is short and simple too. There is a good variety of vehicles however (And I still haven't unlocked them all considering how many that I saw in City Trial).

I decided to play Top Ride (A mini-racing game) as well. One of my sisters was waiting for something and decided to try again. She played one round and said bluntly that it was horrible (in different words). I then again played by myself and had some fun. This mode was a bit short, but I still play it sometimes for fun.

Now of course, City Trial. This mode was able to keep my sister playing for a bit longer. We had fun looking at all the vehicles and all of the [somewhat bland] sights. Its a fairly big area that contains lots of stuff, but it gets a little tedious going in the same area a bunch of times. Unfortunately, all of the powerups that supposedly boost your vehicle don't make too much of a difference, except in numbers (people that like comparing high-scores and numbers would notice the difference better than me). The different random events and stadium events (which are what you are mainly powering up for) are nice though.

My sister's opinion? "The only good part about the game."

Later, racing my little brother on Air Ride mode he had to go use the restroom. He was going to stop playing afterwards, but decided to leave the game running while he was away. The bad part is, his character was keeping up pretty well and even almost beat me while I was actually trying to win. I can see why a lot of people say that the game plays for you.

Overall, the game is fun if you are a light/medium gamer, with a bunch of goals to reach, but if you just play occasionally, you will get bored fast. I would recommend not getting it if it costs more than $20. It is definitely worth renting if you don't want to buy it.

The next big game in racing? you decide as your curving around hair pin turns racing all your favorite characters. racing so you can become number #1. Let's just say this game is fun. Racing, taking your enemy's power, then using it aganist them do i have to say more. unlocking bonus levels and being kirby IF YOUR A KIRBY FAN OR YOU JUST LIKE TO RACE GET THIS GAME...

THE CHARACTER'S ARE FROM SUPER SMASH BROTHERS MELEE...

Kirby Air Ride is a very cool game. I also think it is addicting. Hal Laboratories (also made Super Smash Bros. Mele and the regular SSB) has done a great job with the colors, which are very fun and... well colorful! I strongly recomend this game to all Kirby fans, and also those Nintendo™ fans. And also, if you liked Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee, you will Definately like this game.

i got this game because 1) i wasn't paying too much attention to the title and 2) i've always loved the kirby games.

the graphics are kinda cool, but the game moves too fast for me to really enjoy it. half the time, you can't see tell the track from the side of the track and the game moves so quickly, it's hard to know what's going on.

the game seems poorly thought out and didn't really offer any enjoyment. it's cute, but as far as me playing it often, not likely! it's kinda boring and unexciting, despite it's cute music, bright colors and adorable kirby.

Kirby air ride is the best game since super smash bros. meele, super mario sunshine, and legend of zelda:the wind waker. Complexity ruins most games, but not this one. With many fun goals, it gets very addictive. The graphics are smooth, the preformance is superb, and each air ride preforms differently! The legendary ai ride machines are breathtaking, and there are three different modes to play in!
You can battle in destruction derby. Wen an air ride explodes, it's amazing! City trial offers lots of challenges, such as: destroying your friend's air ride. Anyone who gives this a bad review dosen't know how to access everything. If you don't try it, I will burst into tears because this game is nearly perfect.

Did not live up to expectations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the most boring game I've ever played (which is a lot). Don't waste your money on this because it will give you about as much fun as watching glue dry therefore it is very boring all you do is go around and around and around and around, then you unlock someone and you win the game. Talk about boring!!!!!!!!!!!

play it,don't look at it,don't buy it,don't rent it,don't even get by it!

hi I am the offical nintendo licend #1 kirby fan expanding beyond dream land (unlike that other guy) THIS IS THE GREATEST GAME EVER!!! I was AT E3 and all I did was play this and other kirby games soooooooo if you reall y wana have real fun REALLY real fun
you should difenetly buy or if you wana be a small little man
rent this fabulas game
PS:this game will definetly be popstar fun

We get another game from the makers of the best game ever, Super Smash Bros. Melee. There are three modes to Kirby Air Ride: Air Ride(a classic race), Top Ride(a top-down race that's kind of like a minigame), and City Trial(by far the best of the three). City Trial is all about getting powerups for your star in a city until time runs out, then you play a minigame to determine who wins the game. You can also play the city map and minigames seperately. You'll find yourself playing this one mode over and over and over... Anyway, you should this game if you have a Gamecube. It's cheap, and it's fun.

i dont have this game because i do not have a game cube, but my friend has it and it is soooooooo fun.the only thing we ever play is free ride on city trill mode. it is so fun!!!we allways use hydra, a very strong fighter car, and dragoon,a very good flyer car. the most fun part with dragoon is to fly so far up that the city below looks tiny,and than dive down really fast and hit an apponent.we allways play 4 player and it is very easy to find each other in the city because a player one,two,three or four sign shows above each player that shows threw buildings and walls.os all you have do do to find one of the other players is follow the sign!! this is very fun!!!
