This game rocks to the power of 10!

Pros:
Who knows how many unlockables
Kirby!
Simple controls
Replay value=off the scale(or wall, whichever you like)

Cons:
Um....let me get back to you on that.

Overall: Kirby Air Ride rocks!!!!

This game rocks. When I rented it I wanted it so badly. This is the best game I've played. I want it so badly and I will probaly get it.

Seems Like Kirby finally returned on GCN.Well I'll Tell ya I saw this game and played it and it wasn't what I expected.Sheesh... ultra-simple controls? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING NINTENDO???!!!!and what if you could play with META NIGHT?!!I'drather play with kirby.the dudes no better than his puffball pals!!
There are three modes in the game Air ride,Top ride and city trial(probably the best)Its where you get to roam a city and power up your star and duke it out in a random stadium match.the wide variaty of stars is another good reason to get the game.(warpstar compactstar swervestar bulkstar rocketstar wingedstar shadow star slickstar formulastar turbostar Jetstar wagonstar Flightwarpstar wheeliebike wheelie scooter and last but not least rexwheelie)and the legendary dragoon'n hydra.I would only recommend the game If you've got afew pals at home,and to all those loyal kirby fans out there.

My younger sister and I play this almost nonstop. It's her absolute favorite game out of all the ones I own, and it's pretty high up in my top ten also. The controls are extremely simple- only the Control Stick and the A Button are used. It's multiplayer compatible, and there are three modes to play in- Air Ride, Top Ride, and City Trial.

In Air Ride, players race around long, detailed tracks with a variety of different machines. Some are really good at flying, some are extremely fast, et cetera. They all have fair weaknesses so there's no single overpowered machine. For example, the Swerve Star is extremely fast (averaging 31 mph while other machines hover at 20-25) and you unlock it early on- but it has to stop completely to make a turn.

In Top Ride, players race around small tracks with a birds-eye-view. This is my least favorite mode, only because for a veteran player it's a bit boring, but I'm sure it's fun for beginners. The tracks are all modelled after a certain element- The Water track has rivers and whirlpools, and so on.

The most interesting mode is City Trial, where players wander around a miniature city collecting powerups to help their machine- such as a higher top speed, or higher offensive power. Gray colored icons decrease your stats, however. Players can also choose to search for a different machine, rather than the starter Compact Star, to give them the edge. After a set time limit, the players move to a stadium to compete in a trial that puts their powerups to the test. There's a Drag Race, in which players are forced to put their top speed to work in a straight course. There's also the Air Glider where players are challenged to glide as far as they can before crashing, or the Destruction Derby where players are instructed to blow the others' machines up, making those offense and defense powerups come in handy.
Each mode has a checklist of challenges (such as 'finish one lap of Fantasy Meadows in under 24 seconds). When these goals are met, a check is filled in and sometimes something new is unlocked, like a new machine to use or alternate music for a stage.

All in all, a great racing game the enire family can enjoy. I even got my mom to try it out, and she NEVER plays games. It's really fun- try it out.

I'm not sure, it's kind of creepy... this is a brainless game full of pointless plain old regular racing/flying around aimlessly, but for some reason, it's just... fun. It scares me that I like it, but, i guess, buy it...

Kirby sores thru the air sucks up an enemy and gets a copy ability. That's what Kirby Air ride is . Sucking up enemy's in Air ride mode, Copy ability panels in city Trial and Top ride mode. These three modes are action packed and full of fun! I play it for four hours. It is awsome.

FUN UP TO 4 AND ALSO LAN.

THIS GAME IS SO FUN I HAD THIS GAME SINCE IT FISRT CAME OUT. THE GAME IS STILL FUN. THE GAME HAS SO MANY THINGS TO DO. YOU CAN PLAY AIR RIDE AND TOP RIDE AND ALSO CITY RIDE. THE GAME IS GREAT TO PLAY WITH 3-4 PLAYERS. SO BUY IT NOW BECAUSE IT IS CHEEP AND FUN.

I thought that this game was wicked cool, chooseing fromt the different games to play. You can have battle mode or city trial or race. In Ciy trial you can unlock pretty cool cars. In race mode u also unlock cars but in this u have to earn new cars from city trial to brought into the game. Fighting is pretty gets kinda borning though. City Trial is me and my brothers favorite, I think thats the best. U can race multi people and chose different cars and different race tracks. The race tracks are wicked cool. Ones with fire and lava. THen theres ones with jungle lands. Me and all my friends play it together. I think that this gane is just wicked cool.
