Kirby Air Ride's beautiful graphics, cunning courses, and, of course, KIRBY, make this game incredible!!! In Air Ride mode, you race through 9 imaginative courses struggling to complete the 120 challenging goals! About 2/3 of which give you rewards such as new vehicles, sound tests, and even a new course (And two movies)! Enemies dot the tracks begging to get sucked up and copied. There are 11 copy abilities such as Mike, Fire, Freeze, Plasma, and so many more! Courses include Fantasy Meadows, Magma Flows, and Beanstalk Park! Machines include great gliders, such as the Winged Star, great speeders, like the Formula Star, and great battlers, like Shadow Star, and some why-on-earth-would-I-want-to-ride-that stars, like th Bulk Star. (I can't tell you about all three modes) Though incredible and challenging and sure to last a while, once I got all 3 credits, I felt discouraged to complete the rest of the goals, ehich is why I gave it a 4/5. It's really good though, If you're not one of those "I'm going to get a game, play it for two straight days, then finish it" kinda people. Toodles!!!
This Game is Great!!!

This game is good for people who have somebody else to play with. I like when you can get off your vehicle and look around the town on foot and change your vehicle (Only in the town). It's also cool that you can vs your mom, dad, brother, sister, or/and friends by using diferent abilities like throwing bombs, spitting fire balls, and more. Thats why I think this game is great!!!
One of the most underrated games on the Gamecube

Ever since Kirby's video game debut in 1992, he has starred in a number of excellent games spanning a number of different genres. From platformers to puzzle games to even a golf game, Kirby has done it all, with one exception - Racing. Nintendo planned to release Kirby Air Ride for their now-extinct Nintendo 64, but the project never saw the light of day. A Kirby game got released on the Nintendo 64, but it was a basic platformer. At long last Nintendo resurrected the idea, and Kirby Air Ride as taken on new life - as a Gamecube game! Read on for my review.
PROS:
-The graphics are VERY good for this kind of game. No two areas look very much alike, and the characters look great.
-There are a number of different vehicles you can use. You can only use one at first, but you'll unlock more as you progress through the game.
-If you work really hard, you'll earn the right to play as Kirby's arch-nemesis, King DeDeDe!
-The game only uses two buttons, the A button and the control stick, so it's much easier to learn than many of the racing games out there today.
-There are multiplayer modes, something no next-generation video game should be without.
-Like in other Kirby games, you can steal powers from enemies - and use them to attack the other racers!
CONS:
-The one-button scheme, while the games greatest strength, also manages to be its greatest weakness. It makes the game VERY tricky to learn, and may give gamers the wrong impression about the game. DO NOT judge this game on your first impression.
-Many gamers may pass this game by just because it's "too cute." Don't make that mistake.
OVERALL:
Kirby Air Ride is a refreshing change of pace from all the racing games that have seen the light of day on the Gamecube. Although the game doesn't quite top Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, it's still worth checking out. Much like Mario, Kirby rarely fails to please.
Great game for younger kids!

I bought this game for my kids (who are 4 and 7) to have something to play together during the summer. They absolutely love it. They have been playing it for several weeks now, and are still not tired of it yet. They keep discovering new things about the game the more they play it (i.e. the longer you play the more tracks and events you un-lock!) I consider this a very good investment.

Holy smoke!!! This game is the GREATEST I've ever played in my life!!! It is better the MK Double Dash!!! I really enjoyed all the Kirby games that have been made. Some have been easy, some are hard, but not a single one sucks!!! I admit that I don't have all the Kirby games, but this one rocks!!! I hope you have enjoyed this game as much as I do! So I telling you it is safe to buy this game........even if it costs as much as 50 bucks!!! This is from the makers of Smash Bros. and Mariocart, so you know it rules! I recommend this game for ages 12 and over. It can get very hard at times, so I don't think children would enjoy this as much. If you are lonely and want to play a game, this is da bomb!!! So go ahead and get ur freak on!!! P.S.- This game rocks because it has a wide selection of tracks and cars, it also has tons of cheat codes. It also has three games in one disk. Amazing gameplay!!!!!

Great game for young players. If your kids are just starting on video games, this is the game to buy them. Controls are easy to learn and use. Anyone can play this game and have fun.

Ok, this might be a good game for young kirby fans, but otherwise......
It's basically like any other fast paced unrealistic racing games (not that they're bad, i personally like FX) but the handling of the racing isnt smother or easy, and its almost impossible to get any of the cool weapons on the track. I still haven't mastered the controls completly. But multyplayer's pretty fun, so this is actually a good buy if you dont have any other 2+ games, or for first timers with the gamecube. Especially for the younger kids, IF they have the intelligence to master the controls.
Overall, it's a good game, for the younger kids (10 or under) but with anyone else older might be pushing it.

Kirby is back with his latest game, Kirby Air Ride. Hall Labratory are really doing well releasing a awesome game like this. Meet Kirby, Ride on his ultra-cool star, and blast through the worlds in 3 Different modes! (I'll keep them a secret!!) Hall Lab made Super Smash Bros Melee, another great game which you bend over backwards to play.
Ride on more stars and cars than ever imagined. Ride on Dyna-Blades Back or ride on motorcars, go surf on a flame car, or dig underground with digle mobile!
This game is so much fun, give into Kirby and his awesome game ever! You can race against many of your friends in this ultra multiplayer game, and even connect your gamecube broadband connector up and play with players around the world or other people in your home! Get new characters, complete routes, and then after all that, show you're friends what a Kirby K/Q you really are! Challenge friends our family to this great game!
