This was the first game I ever played on my Xbox, and it gave me a very good first impressions of the console. Its full of personality and humor, has beautiful arty graphics and even better cutscenes, wonderful voice acting despite the fact that only 3 people did every single voice and 80% of the voices was the done by Lorne Lanning, company CEO, game creator and designer, and script write. The music is wonderful, though not that memorable. Gameplay might be somewhat slow and frusturating for some, but you have unlimited lives, so there are no restraints, thought the difficulty level is still perfect. The gameplay is also very well done in the way that on every level after the first 2 or 3, Abe and Munch must work as a team using their abilitys- Munch can use mechanical things, swim very well, command fuzzles(Cute little creatures with nasty bites) and go fast on land when in a wheelchair. Abe can command Mudokons(His race) posess and control enemies, go faster on land then Munch and jump higher. The game is very well balanced between the two charecters. The game is also enjoyable for all age groups- 8 year olds will love this, as will 50 year olds. I highly recommend this title(And when your done, buy Halo!).

Abe and Munch are two of the weirdest characters in video gaming. They must work together, which sounds good but they are two completely different characters with different skills and abilities.
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is a puzzle game, with a little action thrown in to keep most players interested. The puzzles are easy to understand so that even younger players can determine how to solve them, even though they may not have the skills to easily complete them. Most levels require no violence, and even those that do are distant, bloodless, and somewhat funny.
This power of Xbox really shines with this game. The graphics and sound are really good. The characters travel through forests, valleys, mountains, towers, etc. while using a whellchair, cranes, beverage dispensers, etc.
This is fun for most of the family, although the females might not laugh as loud as the boys at the green clouds of gas or noisey belches.

I got this game so I would have something different than the fight or war games, and boy am I glad I did. The entire family gets involved and has a GREAT TIME! The graphics were the best and the audio is fantastic. The one-liners are funny. Worth every cent and a must have for any X-Box gamer! Everyone will love it!!!

I have the 1st and 2nd OddWorld releases and it was the best game I have ever played. Great strategy, unique ways of solving, hilarious antics, (gotta love the farts!), great graphics and chantings, and all-in-all, one hell of a lovable character, ABE. We own a playstation which is what the first 2 games were played on and can't see buying a whole new system for just this game. Maybe someday I'll get to finish the OddWorld quest. I'll be in search of a neighbor who has one. If you've never played OddWorld and have the XBox, get it. You won't reqret it!

I've been playing games for a long time on every system since the 2600 and the commodore all the way up and this is the best example of role playing story, great graphics, and fun game play that I have ever seen.
I have every xbox game out right now and this is by far the best one.

Have played all of the series and this one is like the frosting on a cake. Excellent graphics, Awesome sound effects. Story line is intense and well planned out.
You cannot get a correct feel for this game playing only the demo, this game is one that last a LONG time.
I Highly recommend this game for anyone who is into a game that takes strategy and pinpoint accuracy to win.
Very Cute Game!

I think this game is so adorable! It has great graphics and two way cool characters. The first character you play with is named Abe. He has a bunch of friends he meets up with with some funny humor. If Abe tells his friends to work on something Abe says,"Get to work guys," and his pals say, "Yah whatever," or something cute like that. They also say a lot of other cute stuff together. It's a real entertaining game and funny too. Then the next character you meet up with is Munch, he also has pals called jub jubs who are really cute and nice to Munch but they are mean and wicked to the evil folk that lurk around everywhere. It has really funny stories to it also. It's really fun and I suggest you buy or rent it. Everyone in your family will enjoy it a lot. It's like watching a movie with this game, a very funny one! As I said before it's cute cute cute and my Dad and little sister love it! It was worth getting really it was. My little sister as I said loves to watch either me or my dad play it. So get or regret! Thanks for reading something that isn't the Constitution from a 12 yr. old! -LilFlameball77

Picked up this game and couldn't put it down for hours. Each adventure is unique and is addicting. The storyline is cute, corny at times, and I found myself laughing much to my surprise. Great for kids (although some might find the characters a little too strange looking) and adults (the humor is quite amusing.)
The most addictive game ever!

I started playing this game and in 2 minutes I was hooked. If you want a game where you go around shooting everything in sight, don't buy this game. This is a game of figuring out puzzles and using strategic menouvers to not hurt yourself and your friends that you're rescuing. It might be a little frusturating using Munch on the land since he moves so slow, but it gets so much easier when you get his wheelchair. The graphics are amazing. When I first turned on the game I was in awe at what I saw ecspecially the movies they're so amazing. You will not regret buying this game.
