Well they've really outdone themselves in the forth installment of the tomb raider series...this one starts out very different than all the rest...we don't get to see lara's house, in fact her training session is an actual level where you see her as a child, learning from her "mentor", the ways of tomb raiding. I really liked this concept of seeing her beginnings/start. As usual we've got monsters and things to shoot up with awesome firepower, we've got all kinds of neat vehicles to drive or boat around in, and the setting is ancient egypt. Being a huge fan of ancient egypt, this one is especially enjoyable to me. going thru the different tombs, discovering hidden scrolls and sarcofagi (sp)...vising the old cities like alexandria..... the game can be played multiple ways as well, and you can go back to cities to do other tasks before actually finishing. this also is a new concept they tried in TRIII by being able to visit the three middle levels in any order you want. Excellent game, exiting, and a real benefit over those games where you are just a "hand with a gun"... i have all four episodes, love them all (though have only finished TRII)

I started out with TombRaider2 and became hooked on this series right away. TR3 was a very difficult game at times, and I was somewhat disappointed with the ending, but overall still liked the game. What I really like about TR LR is the movie cut scenes and the fact that you have to solve puzzles along the way and go back to different places you have visited. The music and graphics are great, and the new moves and weapons are also an improvement. This game is great because you have to think. I give this game a big Thumbs Up.

I have been playing this game for the last month and it has been the best one yet. Since the first Tomb Raider I have been hooked. The Last Revelation has just the right balance of shooting and puzzles. The 3D scenes are very well done enhance the game playing experience.

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation is among the best video gamesI have ever played! The graphics kick @$$, and the movements are morefluid. Lara looks like a real person in this one. Her hair is even longer in this one! The scenery graphics have more clarity. The one thing that I wish was an option was the ability to throw a punch or a kick or something, especially when you run out of ammo with the special weapons. Other than that, the game is awesome. There is more interaction with other characters in the game as well. The storyline is above and beyond awesome! The car-chases are (great). I wish that she would go head-to-head with another female character in the game too! There's nothing like a good catfight! Other than that, this game is a MUST BUY! END

This game is great. I value it above all games. Great views, great new inventory system. It is based on an old Egyptian legend called Isis and Osiris. It's also great to see 16 year old Lara at the beginning of the game and join her on an adventure with Werner von Croy in Cambodia. Then join adult Lara on a new adventure in Egypt, you'll visit temples, tombs and other super places It is a great addition to the series of Tombraider. How about visiting Egypt for real !

this game is the boss! ok maybe i'm being a little crazy. its not all fun. there are some parts that scare ...you. And sometimes you chuck your ps1 out the window.there are also cheats that help you skip levels stuff like that. to skip levels face directly north. if ya need help faceing north climb up on a ledge.
(it will face you in exactly the right direction). in all the cheats you have to face directly north. go to the inventory, and scroll to the load game panel. press and hold L1, L2 R1 R2, up,
triangle, and let go. you'll skip the level. to get all weapons + ammo, Go to the inventory.Find the small health pack. press+hold L1, L2, R1, R2, up triangle, let go and ureka. To get unlimited ammo, flares, heath packs, go to the inventory. Find the small health pack again and press+hold L1, L2, R1, R2,down, triangle
and let go.

1. good graphics.
2.not stupidly easy like Harry Potter.

I been playing this game since 1999. I just recently hooked up my playstation and loaded it with where i ended off back in like 99 or 00. I can't figure out this level with like these wheels in the ground (like ships wheels) in a dark area with torches on the wall, that you have to turn, there are like 3, don't know what direction to put them in to open something, any help? would like to beat this game before 2010, other than that its a sweet game

Would be better with todays graphics but whatever...

This game is very good, but can be frusterating as hell... The graphics look good for a PS game though. Hours of fun.

I bought TLR to complete my TR set for Playstation. WOW! Had I TOTALLY forgotten how different the controls for Lara are! I know I will enjoy working through this game as much as the others.
